Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Music from the Motion Picture) is the original soundtrack for the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film. It was scored by Tom Holkenborg and was released digitally on 20 December 2024, the same day as the film in the United States.[1]

- "The Ultimate Lifeform" is Shadow's title in the main Sonic series.
- "Green Hills, Present" and "Green Hills, Good Future" are references to Sonic the Hedgehog CD's Time Warp mechanic.
- "New Day, New Adventure" could be a reference to the text that appears after the credits of the Last Story of Sonic Adventure 2 "A new day brings new adventure", or to "A New Day" and "A New Venture", the themes of Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure respectively.
- "Talk About Low Budget Flights" and "We're Outta Here!" both quote Sonic's first line in Sonic Adventure 2's Hero Story.
- "Wow... He's Fast!" quotes Sonic's first response to Shadow's Chaos Control in Sonic Adventure 2.

- "Throw It All Away" shares its title with Shadow's theme from Sonic Adventure 2.
- "I'll Make It Through" references the lyrics of "Escape from the City" from Sonic Adventure 2.
- "Big Time Villains" references Sonic's line "You've turned into a big time villain, doctor!" from Sonic Adventure 2.

- It is the Sonic Cinematic Universe's first score album not to be released digitally by Paramount Music, being published by Milan Records instead.
- There are a variety of tracks present in the film that aren't listed on the soundtrack (a notable one being the track used when Shadow the Hedgehog escaped Prison Island).
- "Last Story" and "Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog" contain a small section of "Event: The Last Scene", from Sonic Adventure 2.
- "G.U.N. Control" contain a small section of "Escape from the City", from Sonic Adventure 2.
- The song "Galvanize" by The Chemical Brothers, was another song used in the Olympics in London 2012. After Star Light Zone in Tokyo 2020.
