Sonic the Hedgehog 25th Anniversary Art Book is a hardcover art book published by Cook & Becker. This book showcases the visual history of the Sonic the Hedgehog series from 1991 to 2016, containing design sketches, official illustrations, in-game sprites, promotional art, and box art. The book also contains never-before-seen artwork,[2] and features interviews with key designers and artists who have worked on the series, including Yuji Naka, Takashi Iizuka, Kazuyuki Hoshino and Yuji Uekawa.

The book was originally set to be released in April 2017, but was delayed to May 2017 as the book did not meet quality standards.[3] It was further delayed until June 2017 when the second printing did not meet the quality standards either, and the publisher had to switch to a new printer.[1] Separate Standard Editions and special Collector’s Editions were made available during the release.[4]
