- On the cover, both Sonic and Tails are both shown eating their respective favorite food: Sonic is eating a chili dog while Tails is eating mint candy.
- The soda cans on the bottom of the cover are a reference to the Chaos Cola and Chaos Soda billboards in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2.
- Aaron Hammerstrom's role in providing the layout for Rafa Knight's variant cover for issue 1, which had gone uncredited in said issue, is properly credited here.
