Sonic the Hedgehog/Mega Man: Worlds Unite Volume 1: Deadly Fusion is the first of three trade paperback releases of the Worlds Unite crossover. - In chapter 2, a footnote claimed that the Worlds Unite Battles story "Maverick Hunters Versus Vile" would be reprinted in Sonic the Hedgehog/Mega Man: Worlds Unite Volume 2: Broken Bonds; it was actually supposed to be reprinted in Sonic the Hedgehog/Mega Man: Worlds Unite Volume 3: Allied Forces.
