Sonic the Hedgehog - "Enter Knuckles, Part 2"[]

Synopsis[]

Sonic and Tails have tracked Doctor Robotnik to the mysterious Floating Island, hoping to fnd the evil dictator vulnerable and alone. Instead, they find him protected by Knuckles the Echidna, the Island's powerful guardian.

Sonic wakes up after being temporarily concussed by Knuckles, only for Robotnik to suddenly accuse him of wanting to steal the Floating Island Chaos Emeralds. Sonic is understandably confused - he doesn't want to steal any Chaos Emeralds, and in any case already has some! Robotnik quickly twists Sonic's words around, claiming to Knuckles that Sonic previously stole his Chaos Emeralds and now wants Knuckles' as well. Robotnik claims to be a "humble servant of my people", and that all the people of Mobius live in fear of the vile creature, Sonic. Knuckles attacks Sonic again. Although Sonic realizes that Knuckles has been tricked and is probably a really nice guy, he isn't about to let that sucker punch slide, and knocks Knuckles back.

Tails flies away, with his own job to do, while Sonic and Knuckles really get to fighting. Sonic is fast enough to dodge Knuckles' punches, but not the tremors caused when Knuckles slams the ground. In retaliation, Sonic spins a tornado around Knuckles, increasing the pressure until he shoots upwards. When he lands, Knuckles immediately burrows underground, and Sonic follows. The ground rumbles under foot, as Robotnik gleefully believes Knuckles has the advantage underground. The tyrant claims that convincing Knuckles that Sonic is a bad guy was a stroke of genius.

Suddenly, Knuckles flies out of the ground, apparently beaten and nearly defeated by Sonic. He's quickly on his feet, and though both are a little worse for wear, neither has any intention of giving up!

Tails flies by in the Tornado and scoops up Robotnik in a giant net. Knuckles thinks Tails will bring Robotnik back if Knuckles catches Sonic, but it's no good: even though Knuckles is nearly Sonic's match in a fight, when it comes to speed he isn't even close. Sonic jumps onto the Tornado's wing, and they fly back home, with Robotnik suspended beneath them, still ranting.

Tails asks if Sonic could have beaten Knuckles, to which Sonic replies he could have done so easily... but to himself, he confesses the truth. Knuckles was really tough although gaining the upper hand, and Sonic is sure they haven't seen the last of him.

The Midway Monsters (Bones Jackson, Brenda Brikka, Grim, and Razor Kid) are still chasing Coach Brikka's head (stolen by K.T. Slayer). Suddenly, 4 feet of snow lands on the ground around them, signalling the start of the Winter Olympics. They steal a snowmobile from some competitors, only to find that they're in the Freestyle Clay Bobsleigh Shooting competition, and people start firing at them when they fly off a skijump. They land on two ice dancers, crushing them, and they catch up to K.T. Slayer. They tackle K.T., but Coach Brikka's head bounces across the snow and is found by Zalgor Prigg and his cronies.

Sonic's World - "No More Mr. Nice Bug, Part 3"[]

Synopsis[]

Cam 'n' Bert, search and repair operatives for B.A.R.F. (Badnik Army Repair Functionaries), are attacked by the two niceniks, Bim and Bom. They fend them off with their repair tools, and the two niceniks retreat. They hide at the bottom of a cliff, but are soon found and destroyed by Bert. The two rabbit organic batteries are released, but quickly caught and tied up by Bert.

Cam and Bert rebuild the badniks, but only have enough working part for a single bizarre creature. There's only enough room for one organic battery, but they shove both rabbits into the machine anyway. They remove all of the nicenik tendencies and send their "repaired" badnik out on patroll, satisfied in another job well done. As they fly off, Cam comments that the nicenik computer virus might have spread like a plague if they hadn't stopped it... at which point a nearby Moto Bug takes a sniff of a lovely flower...

Just then, Igor answers the door, where Detective Case has come to investigate reports of a missing person...
