Sonic and Amy continue to be stuck on the microscopic planet, whilst being chased by mercenaries Death-Trap. Resting in an ancient town, Sonic and Amy have to face Medusa, a mythical beast with snakes for hair and eyes that can turn onlookers into stone. Sonic eventually defeats her by whipping up a sandstorm so she can't see.
