This is the rewritten script for the storyline of Sonic Generations in Sonic X Shadow Generations.

Abducted Friends[]
[Scene: the past, Green Hill.]
- [Classic Sonic is running through Green Hill when suddenly he stops due to an explosion. He looks around, wondering where it came from. Shrugging it off, he keeps running, unaware of the Time Eater rising out from the sky. Classic Sonic turns around and looks in surprise, and the screen turns white.]
[Scene change: Present time, meadow.]
- [Several of Sonic's friends and some Chao are seen preparing for his birthday party on a meadow near a lake. Tails comes in running.]
- Tails: [Panting] He'll be here any second!
- [Sonic arrives shortly after.]
- Sonic: Hey guys, what's going on? You having a party or something?
- All: SURPRISE!!!
- [Knuckles, Blaze, Rouge and Espio fire party poppers. Blaze claps.]
- Sonic: Awwww, you guys.
- [Espio claps as the party begins. Sonic talks to Tails before being hugged by Amy, Rouge and Knuckles cheer with chili dogs, Charmy throws three chili dog into Vector's mouth, with Espio annoyed at the duo's antics, and Cream and Cheese encourage Blaze to relax.]
- Tails: It's kinda impossible to surprise you.
- Sonic: [ignoring Amy offering cupcakes] You totally got me this time, I had no idea.
- Tails: Yeah, right. Happy birthday, Sonic! Hope you like this.
- [Tails gets a plate with a chili dog wrapped in a bow. Sonic quickly snatches the chili dog off of the plate and takes a bite out of it.]
- Sonic: Like it? I love it! [Gives a thumbs-up]
- [Everyone keeps on partying. Suddenly, a Time Hole appears which produces a shock wave.]
- Sonic: Woah!
- [Everything from the table is blown away, including Sonic's chili dog.]
- Tails: Sonic! What is that!?
- [Sonic realizes his chili dog is gone and searches for it. The Time Eater emerges from the Time Hole.]
- Tails: What's it doing?
- [Sonic is disappointed that he lost his chili dog, and then looks at the Time Eater. The Time Eater roars, and produces Time Holes that starts sucking everyone in. Team Chaotix gets sucked in first. Rouge and Knuckles are seen holding on to the table, but are sucked in along with Amy. They are all have seen been sucked into the Time Holes.]
- Sonic: Hey! Those are my friends!
- [Sonic dashes towards the Time Eater, and jumps forward to attack it with a Homing Attack. But the Time Eater swats him aside, and Sonic hits the ground hard, flying over a fence and the picnic table. Cream, Cheese and Blaze suck inside the Time Holes. Tails barely hangs on.]
- Tails: Help us, Sonic!
- [Tails has been sucked into a Time Hole. Sonic lays unconscious as the screen turns white.]
[Scene change: White Space.]
- [Sonic is seen laying unconscious, but then regains his senses.]
- Sonic: [Groans] Where am I?
- [Getting up, Sonic looks around and sees Green Hill in a white state. Sonic runs towards it.]
Rescuing Tails[]
[Scene: White Space, Green Hill Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Tails is restoring itself, turning Tails to normal. Realizing he is free, he breathes a sigh of relief.]
- Tails: That was awful! I couldn't tell where I was or what had happened. [shudders] Like I was trapped in a nightmare!
- Sonic: [crosses his arms] Well, you're safe now. That's what's important.
Two Sonics[]
[Scene: White Space.]
- [Modern Sonic and Tails are in front of the partially colored Green Hill Stage Entrance.]
- Modern Sonic: Is it just me, or does Green Hill look different?
- Tails: This isn't South Island, and all the color and life's been drained from it. Totally strange.
- Modern Sonic: Eh, no stranger than fighting evil genies or saving aliens in an interstellar amusement park. Right now we should focus on finding our friends.
- Tails: We can start over there. [Points to the Chemical Plant Stage Entrance] That skyline looks familiar, but I can't be sure.
- Modern Sonic: That's as good a lead as any, Tails! Back in a flash!
- [Modern Sonic runs towards the Chemical Plant Stage Entrance. As Tails watches Modern Sonic go, Classic Sonic arrives and sees Tails. He also looks forward, and waves at Tails.]
- Tails: [Shifts backwards] Wow! That was crazy, Sonic. You weren't kidding! It's like you never left.
- [Classic Sonic nods and runs off, leaving Tails in a thinking position.]
- Tails: Hmm...
Are We in the Past?[]
[Scene: Chemical Plant.]
- [Tails is seen flying around and spots Sonic.]
- Tails: [Waves] Sonic!
- Modern Sonic: Tails!
- [Tails lands near Sonic.]
- Tails: This is definitely the Chemical Plant, but we're not remotely on West Side Island. Did that monster do this?
- Modern Sonic: We'll figure it out later. Our friends come first!
Rescuing Amy[]

[Scene: White Space, Chemical Plant Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Amy is restoring itself, turning Amy to normal. She realizes she is free and happily spins around.]
- Amy: You saved me, Sonic! I have always thought that you were cute, but did you get cuter?
- [Classic Sonic puts his hands on his hips and looks away, annoyed.]
Modern[]
[Scene: White Space, Chemical Plant Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Amy is restoring itself, turning Amy to normal. She realizes she is free and happily spins around.]
- Amy: You saved me, Sonic! I'll be sure to return the favor next time around!
- Modern Sonic: [turns around as he facepalms and shakes his head] Not really worrying about that right now, Amy.
Rescuing Knuckles[]

[Scene: White Space, Sky Sanctuary Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Knuckles is restoring itself, turning Knuckles to normal. He realizes he is free and excitedly vaults into the air, then lands back on the ground.]
- Knuckles: Thanks, Sonic. Now then, tell me - where's the rest of my island?
- [Classic Sonic gives a surprised look and sadly rubs his stomach.]
Modern[]
[Scene: White Space, Sky Sanctuary Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Knuckles is seen to be restoring itself, turning Knuckles to normal. He realizes he is free and excitedly vaults into the air, then lands back on the ground.]
- Knuckles: Thanks for the help. Not that I needed it. Now let's get some payback on that monster!
- Modern Sonic: [crosses his arms in seeming offense] Ha! Get in line, Knuckle-head. [gives a thumbs-up] Alright!
Through the Glass[]
[Scene: Boss Gate interior.]
- [Modern/Classic Sonic is walking next to some mirrors and he sees Classic/Modern Sonic.]
- Modern Sonic: [if playing as him] Huh?
- [Modern/Classic Sonic goes through several motions and poses, all of which are mirrored by Classic/Modern Sonic in perfect synchronization.]
- Modern Sonic: [if playing as him] Hmm...
- [Modern/Classic Sonic knocks on the mirror.]
- Classic Eggman (offscreen): Take a good look at yourself, Sonic!
- ["E.G.G.M.A.N." plays as the Sonics spot a glowing door]
- Modern Sonic: Dr. Eggman?!
- Classic Eggman (offscreen): It's the last thing you'll see in this world! Ho ho ho ho!
- [Classic Sonic starts running towards the glowing door, leaving Modern Sonic in shock.]
- Modern Sonic: Another Sonic?! [Looks at camera] What!?! [Turns back towards Classic Sonic] Wait a second!
- [Classic Sonic jumps through the glowing door in the distance. Modern Sonic tries to follow, but the door closes, blocking him out.]
- Modern Sonic: Oof!
- [Modern Sonic flips backwards, lands on the ground by his back flips and shakes his head with his eyes shut. He jumps to his feet and puts one hand on his hip.]
Eggman Abducted[]
[Scene: Death Egg.]
- [Classic Eggman lies in the wreckage of the Death Egg Robot.]
- Classic Eggman: Arrgh! Cough! Cough!
- [Classic Sonic shrugs and runs over, but is suddenly blown back as the Time Eater's glow appears, enveloping Classic Eggman. The Time Eater then begins lifting Classic Eggman.]
- Classic Eggman: What?! No! No! Sonic! Save me!
- [The Time Eater drops the wreckage and pulls Eggman into the Time Hole, disappearing. Classic Sonic jumps to his feet and puts his hands on his hips.]
Two of Me[]
[Scene: White Space.]
- [Classic Sonic comes out of the Boss Gate. Modern Sonic is waiting for him, as are Tails and his past counterpart. Modern Sonic looks at Classic Sonic, who puts his hands on his hips.]
- Modern Sonic: Ha! Couldn't have done it better myself.
- Classic Tails: This confirms it.
- Modern Tails: It sure does!
- Classic Tails: Older versions of us...
- Modern Tails: Places and enemies from our past...
- Classic Tails & Modern Tails: We're traveling through time, Sonic!
- [The two Sonics look at each other, then Modern Sonic scratches his head.]
- Modern Sonic: Without the Time Stones?
- Modern Tails: It's like that big thing that kidnapped Eggman can consume time!
- Classic Tails: And then it looks like it dragged your friends here. I mean "our friends." You know what I mean.
- [The area suddenly shakes as the Time Eater appears again.]
- Modern Tails: There it is!
- [The Time Eater flies overhead, then disappears into another Time Hole.]
- Classic Tails: Where'd it go?
- Modern Sonic: We need to track it down, and fast!
- [Classic Sonic nods at Modern Sonic and points ahead. Both Sonics run off, leaving both Tails behind.]
Rescuing Cream[]

[Scene: White Space, Speed Highway Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Cream and Cheese is restoring itself, turning them to normal. They realize they are free and celebrate, then high five.]
- Cream: Thank you, Mr. Sonic! Oh, did you get a new haircut?
- [Classic Sonic looks shocked, then runs his hand through his quills.]
Modern[]
[Scene: White Space, Speed Highway Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Cream and Cheese is restoring itself, turning them to normal. They realize they are free and celebrate, then high five.]
- Cream: Thank you for saving me, Mr. Sonic. It was so scary, but I tried to be really brave!
- Modern Sonic: [smiles and gives her a thumbs-up] You did great, kiddo!
Rescuing Rouge[]

[Scene: White Space, City Escape Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Rouge is restoring itself, turning her to normal. She realizes she is free, flies into the air, and then lands on the ground.]
- Rouge: Thank you, Blue. That thing that grabbed me was like nothing I've ever seen before. Watch out. Come to think of it, you're looking nothing like I remember, either!
- [Classic Sonic shrugs and scratches his head.]
Modern[]
[Scene: White Space, City Escape Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Rouge is restoring itself, turning her to normal. She realizes she is free, flies into the air, and then lands on the ground.]
- Rouge: [Blows Sonic a kiss] Thanks, Big Blue! That's the first time I've ever been stolen.
- Modern Sonic: [puts a hand on his hip and smirks] You're a real gem, Rouge.
Restoring the World[]
[Scene: White Space.]
- [Classic/Modern Sonic walks out of the Seaside Hill Stage Entrance, and waves to Classic/Modern Tails. Modern/Classic Sonic runs up to them, followed by Modern/Classic Tails.]
- Modern Tails: OK, so we're pretty sure we've figured things out... and it's pretty dire. [the ground begins shaking] Aww.
- [Modern Tails is interrupted as the Time Eater does another flyby.]
- Classic Tails: That thing keeps jumping back and forth through time, consuming the dimensional energy. And all that's left behind is this lifeless, white void.
- [The scene cuts to a colorless Crisis City Stage Entrance, then pans to a colorless Rooftop Run Stage Entrance.]
- Modern Tails: The Sonics are the one constant here. Their speed is restoring space-time!
- Modern Sonic: Then I guess we have to run like there's no tomorrow, or there won't be a tomorrow!
Rescuing Espio[]
Classic[]
[Scene: White Space, Seaside Hill Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Espio is restoring itself, turning him to normal. He realizes he is free and leaps into the air, looking around, then lands on the ground again.]
- Espio: Thank you, my friend. Beware, for I have experienced our foe's power, and it is pure evil.
- [Classic Sonic clenches his fists and nods, determined.]
Modern[]
[Scene: White Space, Seaside Hill Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Espio is restoring itself, turning him to normal. He realizes he is free and leaps into the air, looking around, then lands on the ground again.]
- Espio: We're facing a dangerous foe, Sonic. Better be on your guard.
- Modern Sonic: Sure thing. [crosses his arms and nods, determined]
The Dark Monster and the Chaos Emerald[]
[Scene: White Space.]
- [Both Tails and Classic Sonic are walking. Classic Tails is walking backwards, talking to Modern Tails.]
- Classic Tails: You've brought back so much of the world!
- [The camera shows the restored Stage Entrances of Green Hill, Chemical Plant, Sky Sanctuary, Speed Highway, City Escape, and Seaside Hill. Modern Sonic walks out of the Boss Gate leading to the Perfect Chaos, and Classic Tails turns around to see him, giving him a high five.]
- Classic Tails: [High-fives Modern Sonic] You're doing great, Sonic!
- Modern Tails: You mean, "You're doing great, Sonics."
- Classic Tails: Right. I may never get used to that.
- [Classic Tails scratches his head. Another rumble occurs as the Time Eater flies by again, causing Classic Tails to yelp.]
- Modern Sonic: Watch out!
- [Both Sonics and both Tails duck as the Time Eater flies past. A colorless Chaos Emerald is visible nearby the Planet Wisp Stage Entrance, and the Time Eater flies into it, but is repelled by a surge of energy. It appears to be in pain for a moment, then disappears into another Time Hole.]
- Classic Tails: Woah, did that emerald just scare off the monster?
- Modern Tails: The Chaos Emeralds' powers are miraculous. And we sure could use a miracle...
- Classic Tails & Modern Tails: [Points to each other] We need that Emerald!
- Classic Tails: Sonic, your speed has been able to restore our friends. I bet it can restore the Chaos Emerald to full power too!
- Modern Tails: And I bet you double we're going to need all seven Emeralds.
- [Classic Sonic points at Modern Sonic, who returns it with a thumbs up.]
- Modern Sonic: You're on!
- [They then walk off.]
- Classic Tails: You guys have your work cut out for you!
- Modern Sonic: An adventure's no fun if it's too easy.
- [Classic and Modern Sonic fist-bump each other.]
Rescuing Blaze[]

[Scene: White Space, Crisis City Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Blaze is restoring itself, turning her to normal. She realizes she is free and leaps to the highest point of the Gate leading to Crisis City, staring at the bottom and crossing her arms. Then she returns to the ground.]
- Blaze: I wish I hadn't needed your help, Sonic, but thank you. By the way, you seem to look less... spiky!
- [Classic Sonic runs a hand through his quills again and shrugs.]
Modern[]
[Scene: White Space, Crisis City Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Blaze is restoring itself, turning her to normal. She realizes she is free and leaps to the highest point of the Gate leading to Crisis City, staring at the bottom and crossing her arms. Then she returns to the ground.]
- Blaze: As much as I dislike relying on others, I'm grateful for your aid. The creature was beyond my skills.
- Modern Sonic: Yeah, this one's tough. [nods slowly and clenches a fist while looking at it]
Rescuing Vector[]
[Scene: White Space, Rooftop Run Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Vector is restoring itself, turning him to normal. He realizes he is free, pounds his fist twice, and puts his arms in the air as if he was roaring.]
- Vector: Thanks, Sonic. You know, I got a hunch someone or something is controlling that monster.
- [Classic Sonic (if playing as him) pounds his chest twice, then gives Vector a thumbs-up.]
- Modern Sonic: [if playing as him] Roger that. [nods slowly]
You Got a Chaos Emerald![]
[Scene: White Space, near Planet Wisp Stage Entrance.]
- [Classic/Modern Sonic walks out of Planet Wisp and is joined by Modern/Classic Sonic. A red glow gets their attention.]
- Modern Sonic: Dude, there's the Emerald!
- [The red Chaos Emerald regains its color and flies off into the distance. Both Sonics race after it. In awe, Classic Sonic watches Modern Sonic leap into the air and do an Air Boost to snag the Emerald. Classic Sonic shifts backwards, amazed by the stunt.]
- Modern Sonic: Pretty slick move, huh?
- [Classic Sonic shuts his eyes tight, lowers his head, clenches his fists around his head, and gives Modern Sonic a spinning thumbs-up.]
Rescuing Charmy[]

[Scene: White Space, Planet Wisp Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Charmy is restoring itself, turning him to normal. He realizes he is free, stretches, and flies around happily.]
- Charmy: That was very scary, but being with you makes it all better! Yeah! Hey, you look different.
- [Classic Sonic looks annoyed and points at himself before smiling.]
Modern[]
[Scene: White Space, Planet Wisp Stage Entrance.]
- [A statue of Charmy is restoring itself, turning him to normal. He realizes he is free, stretches, and flies around happily.]
- Charmy: I was scared because somebody took me, but now I'm free! I'm a free bee, free bee, free bee, whee! [gives Modern Sonic a thumbs-up]
- Modern Sonic: [scratches his head in confusion] Alright! Just... simmer down, buddy.
Eggman Abducted[]
[Scene: Eggmanland.]
- [Modern Eggman crashes to the ground in front of the wreckage of the Egg Dragoon.]
- Modern Tails: Sonic!
- [Classic Tails flies down holding Classic Sonic, and Modern Tails flies down with them. They land next to Modern Sonic. Modern Eggman sits up.]
- Modern Eggman: I recalibrated everything! This was supposed to be my time!
- Modern Sonic: Oh, please, keep dreamin', Egg-head. I beat you every time. [Turns to Classic Sonic] No, seriously, we beat him every time. Our score card's flawless.
- [Classic Sonic begins laughing silently.]
- Modern Tails: Stopping Eggman is always good, but the root of the problem is that monster. Maybe we can call a truce and... ?
- [The Time Eater suddenly appears, picks up Modern Eggman and disappears again.]
- Classic Tails: Look! He got your Eggman too! This is getting serious!
The Final Battle![]
[Scene: Lair of the Time Eater.]
- [The Time Eater floats, as both Sonics and both Tails run/fly up to it.]
- Modern Sonic: Okay, gruesome! You're cornered! So how about you just give up and restore the timeline like you found it!
- [One of the spheres on the Time Eater opens, revealing Modern Eggman.]
- Modern Eggman: You're not in a position to demand anything, you nasty little pincushion!
- Modern Tails: Eggman! No wonder!
- [Another sphere opens, revealing Classic Eggman.]
- Classic Eggman: He had a little help.
- Classic Tails: Dr. Robotnik!
- Classic Eggman: Nobody calls me that anymore. If you would be so kind as to explain, gentleman genius Dr. Eggman from the Future.
- Modern Eggman: It will be my pleasure, most excellent and efficacious Dr. Eggman from the Past.
- [Flashback to the ending of Sonic Colors, with Orbot and Cubot pushing the Egg Mobile through space with Eggman inside. They find the Time Eater, which Eggman scans. Impressed with what he has found, Eggman flies towards the Time Eater, leaving Orbot and Cubot.]
- Modern Eggman (voiceover): After Sonic ruined my interstellar amusement park, I stumbled upon a dark, primordial essence. I discovered it possessed abilities I've long desired to harness for myself! Namely that it could travel through the dimension of time! So I decided to utilize its marvelous capabilities and rewrite the past!
- [Flashback ends.]
- Modern Eggman: In order to perfect it, I needed the help of somebody as smart as I am. The only person that smart... is me!
- Classic Eggman: Oh, you are too kind, my dear future self! And I was happy to help.
- Modern Eggman: And now all of time is ours to do with as we please!
- Modern Tails: But the more your monster tears through the timeline, the more damage you do to it!
- Modern Eggman: So? I'm going to erase that line and reshape it as I see fit!
- [Modern Eggman bursts into maniacal laughter, which is interrupted by coughing and clearing his throat, then more laughter.]
- Classic Eggman: Huh. And they call me eccentric.
- Modern Eggman: No one will judge us anymore after we've destroyed these Sonics - forever!
- Classic Eggman: Shall we begin then, doctor?
- Modern Eggman: By all means, my dear doctor!
- Modern Sonic: Destroy me? In your dreams, Eggman! I beat you all the time by myself, and now there's two of me!
- [Classic Sonic backflips.]
- Modern Eggman: Then I'll have twice as much fun defeating you!
- [The cockpits reseal themselves, and the Time Eater starts blasting at the Sonics, who split up and run in different directions.]
- Modern Sonic: Keep moving!
- Modern Eggman: Move all you want! I'm still going to stomp you into a blue jelly.
- [One of the Time Eater's arms disappears into a Time Hole. Both Sonics jump and try to attack the Time Eater, but get knocked away. Before they can recover, the disappeared arm reappears and smashes them into the ground. The arm lifts, revealing both Sonics knocked out cold and vulnerable.]
- Modern Eggman: That was just to soften you up. Now it's time to meet your doom.
- [The Time Eater gets ready to strike.]
- Amy: Don't give up, Sonic!
- [The camera moves quickly towards Amy and Knuckles.]
- Knuckles: You're tougher than that! C'mon!
- Modern Eggman: Ugh, not you!
- [Next scene shows Shadow standing and looking as Rouge flies down next to him.]
- Shadow: On your feet.
- Rouge: You're not beat yet!
- Classic Eggman: Who are they?!
- Modern Eggman: They are insignificant!
- [Next scene shows Vector while Espio runs up and Charmy flies in.]
- Vector: You've faced worse, Sonic!
- Espio: Focus your spirit!
- Charmy: We're right behind you!
- [Next scene shows Cream and Cheese looking on while Blaze runs up and Silver flies in.]
- Cream: I believe in you, Mr. Sonic!
- Blaze: Embrace the Emeralds!
- Silver: Harness their power, Sonic!
- [Next scene shows both Classic and Modern Tails.]
- Classic Tails: You have to win, Sonic!
- Modern Tails: Like you've done time and again!
- [The Chaos Emeralds suddenly appear, swirl around both Classic and Modern Sonic, and lift them into the air. Regaining consciousness, Modern Sonic clenches his fist as the Emeralds power the hedgehogs up.]
- Modern Sonic: Time to scramble some Eggmen, SUPER SONIC STYLE!
- [Both Sonics transform into their Super States, then fly towards the Time Eater.]
Ending[]
[Scene: Present day, meadow.]
- [Sonic's chili dog drops from the sky and into his hand. Sonic then smells it, then takes another bite out of it.]
- Modern Sonic: Still warm. [Laughs and throws the chili dog into the air, then catches it] Time travel!
- [Classic Sonic runs up to Modern Sonic. Suddenly, a mysterious sound is heard. Both Classic and Modern Sonic look as all their friends appear. Everyone cheers in relief at their victory.]
- Knuckles: I'll admit. You weren't half bad Sonic.
- Amy: [Flabbergasted] Half bad? Are you kidding? [slaps Knuckles, who stumbles back] He was all great!
- [Knuckles gives a smug grin as both Sonics exchange surprised looks. Modern Sonic scratches his head as Classic and Modern Tails walk up to the party while talking to each other]
- Classic Tails: So, I have a question for you. Once we're home, you think the timeline will be restored?
- Modern Tails: Yep! Just... don't think about it too hard.
- [The scene moves up and fades to white, and then shows the group continuing the party. Espio talks with Vector and Charmy, Knuckles talks with Rouge, Silver, Blaze, and Shadow talk with each other, and Amy, Cream, and Cheese talks to both Modern and Classic Tails, while Modern Sonic talks with his past self.]
- Modern Sonic: It was great teaming up with you, er, me. Maybe this'll fast-track you to learning some new tricks in the future. Wait, I mean past. Ugh, time travel's a chore!
- [Classic Sonic nods and points at himself pompously. He then runs and jumps, trying to do an Air Boost, but only for a split second. He looks down before trying to keep himself in the air. Realizing this is futile, he looks at the camera before falling down, landing on his head. He shakes his head before getting up, rubbing his head.]
- Modern Sonic: Dude, sweet! And you're only going to get better. [Classic Sonic runs up to Modern Sonic while he talks, and then Modern and Classic Tails walk up.]
- Classic Tails: There's our portal home.
- [A Time Hole is seen leading elsewhere. Classic and Modern Sonic and Tails high five and ten each other. Classic Sonic and Tails run to the portal. Everybody else looks at the scene. Espio, Vector, Charmy and Knuckles wave goodbye, followed by Cream and Cheese, Amy, Rouge, Blaze and Silver while Shadow just looks.]
- Modern Sonic: Hey Sonic! Enjoy your future. It's gonna be great!
- [Classic Sonic gives a thumbs up as he and Classic Tails jump into the portal and it disappears, as Modern Tails and the rest still wave, while Sonic just looks on. The scene moves up to the sunny sky and fades into white and then black.]

[Scene: White Space.]
- [Modern Eggman is trapped in White Space and looks exhausted. He looks at Classic Eggman and growls.]
- Modern Eggman: Are you sure you saw a door over here?
- Classic Eggman: What?!? YOU were the one who said you saw a door over here.
- Modern Eggman: Well, I know it was one of us. Shut up and keep looking.
- [They have a silent argument, then walk off in different directions. Later, both Eggmen are laying on the ground near each other.]
- Classic Eggman: What time is it?
- Modern Eggman: It's the exact same time when you asked earlier and it will be the exact same time when you ask later. THERE IS NO TIME HERE!!
- Classic Eggman: Let me just say that this was a brilliant plan that you came up with.
- Modern Eggman: Don't get too self-righteous. It'll be your plan pretty soon. [Points at Classic Eggman].
- Classic Eggman: [To screen, breaking the fourth wall] I'm going to dedicate the rest of my life to forgetting it.
- Modern Eggman: I heard that.
- Classic Eggman: Do we ever win?
- Modern Eggman: That depends on your definition of "win".
- Classic Eggman: Beating Sonic.
- Modern Eggman: [Puts one hand on his head and slouches, defeated] Oh, well, then no.
- Classic Eggman: That doesn't give me much hope. Maybe I'll go back and get my teaching degree.
- Modern Eggman: [Gets up] That's not a bad idea. I've always enjoyed telling people what to do.
- [Classic Eggman shakes his head in the background.]
