This article contains a list of glitches from Sonic Superstars. Unless otherwise noted, all glitch and exploit names are conjectural. Many of them have not been confirmed by Sega.
If the player activates the character's super transformation above a Star Post, they will transform while touching the object itself. If done correctly, the Ring count will not decrease, letting the player to be using the Super forms as long as they want.[1] This was later patched.
Vertical looping glitch[]
Press Factory Zone (Act 1) and Speed Jungle (Act 2/3 for Trip) has a vertical-looping sections with hidden teleportation triggers. There are sloppy seams and sloppy textures shift in extreme bottom and top points.
Press Factory Zone (Act 1) include three inaccessible rings out of reach after second vertical-looping section. Player can't go down to get them because this rings located below bottom loop trigger.
Home Button Hazards[]
In the Nintendo Switch version of the game, pressing the Home Button and going back to the game causes weird side effects.[2] The following list below is of the effects:
While using the Ivy ability and moving it around, doing the requirements will cause the ivy to distort diagonally. Additionally, it can be used to clip through ceilings.
When moving upwards with Trip's Ring Rolling, doing the requirements will cause Trip to get launched upwards.
When on top of crushers that go upwards, doing the requirements will cause the player to avoid losing a life.
In Cyber Station Zone, when the player is about to leave a squid section zone to revert back to normal, doing the requirements will cause the player to clip through the gimmick that would transform the player back to normal.
When a boss cutscene is being played, after the cutscene ends, the player will be stuck, and upon getting hit, they will fall through the floor and die, followed by the floor following them, softlocking the game.
