Events in Sonic Speed Simulator are recurring special occasions where the player can unlock new playable characters and other content in the game by fulfilling certain requirements. The game usually has one Event per week, which is implemented each Saturday. Events often bring new characters, Chao and trails to the game

Currently advertised Event

This is the most recent event added to the game, and also the event that is likely currently being promoted in the title, thumbnail and description of the game. It typically has a shortcut to opening the menu from anywhere.

Battle of the Bands Event

• Overview: Knuckles and Silver are trying to prove who has better taste in music, and recruits the player to help.
• Objective: This event is team based, at the start, the player picks between Knuckles and Silver, choosing which set of objectives they must complete. The percentage of players who picked each team is shown on a display near the Event. The player can go back and choose the other character after unlocking their chosen character.
  • Team Knuckles! Badge: Join DJ Knuckles' Team.
  • Team Silver! Badge: Join Rockstar Silver's Team.
  • Battle of the Bands! Badge: Complete both Team Knuckles and Team Silver.

Team Knuckles

• Content: Music Notes, DJ Knuckles
• Objective: There are 3 varied tasks the player can complete in any order, and when all are complete, they will unlock DJ Knuckles and access to the Team Silver event.
  • Kick the Rock... for Wild Canyon: Collect 300 Music Sheets.
  • Dive into the Mellow... for Aquatic Mine: Defeat 200 Badniks.
  • Space Trip Steps... for Meteor Herd: Deal 10,000,000 damage to Eggman.
  • DJ Knuckles: Complete all 3 previous tasks.

Team Silver

• Content: Music Notes, Rockstar Silver
• Objective: There are 3 varied tasks the player can complete in any order, and when all are complete, they will unlock Rockstar Silver and access to the Team Knuckles event.
  • Cyberspace 4-2: Ephermeral: Complete 10 Races.
  • Cyberspace 3-4: Constructure: Collect 200 Sky Rings in Emerald Hill.
  • Justice - Park Avenue: Run for 50,000 Steps.
  • Rockstar Silver: Complete all 3 previous tasks.

Guitar Hoverboard

• Hoverboard: Guitar Hoverboard
• Objective: To unlock the Guitar Hoverboard, the player must collect 10 Music Notes scattered across the worlds. 1 new note was added per world during this update, making for 11 new notes.

Main Quest

This is the main quest line of the game as of the 2.79 update, there is one character to be unlocked per world and the player must complete all quests prior to reach the next one.

Green Hill Adventure (Sonic)

• Completing Space Colony Ark Adventure also opens up the back of a waterfall in Emerald Hill, revealing a portal to "Emerald Hill Classic", the original map for Emerald Hill during the Legacy era of the game.
• Completing Space Colony Ark Adventure unlocks a secret room in the Resistance Hideout in New Yoke City, revealing a portal to Chemical Plant.

These Events are currently running as of the latest update to the game, making all task rewards from them obtainable. However, other content from the Events, such as spin wheel prizes, race shop items and items only obtainable with Robux, may no longer be available.

Android Anomaly Event

Original: 28 January 2023 - 4 February 2023 Rerun: Started 25 February 2023

• Content: Android Trail, Timekeeper Chao, Android Shadow Orange, Black Shot (rerun)
• World: Green Hill
• Overview (original): A mysterious vortex has opened in the sky, a pyramid has partially emerged in the sands of Lost Valley, and access to multiple worlds has been sealed off. Believing this to be the work of Eggman, Mechanic Tails tasks the player to collect 500 orbs of Rebirth Energy so he can activate a captured Android Shadow, and possibly decipher Eggman's plan.
• Overview (rerun): Mechanic Tails tasks the player with gathering Rebirth Energy to fix a captured Android Shadow and figure out what Eggman did to the world.
• Objective (original): The player must collect set amounts of Rebirth Energy orbs by completing Time Trials in Green Hill to collect rewards.
  • Android Trail: Collect 100 Rebirth Energy orbs
  • Timekeeper Chao x2: Collect 200 Rebirth Energy orbs
  • Timekeeper Chao x3: Collect 300 Rebirth Energy orbs
  • Android Shadow Orange: Collect 500 Rebirth Energy orbs
• Objective (rerun): The player must collect set amounts of Rebirth Energy orbs by completing Time Trials in Green Hill to collect rewards.
  • Android Trail: Collect 100 Rebirth Energy orbs
  • Timekeeper Chao x2: Collect 200 Rebirth Energy orbs
  • Timekeeper Chao x3: Collect 300 Rebirth Energy orbs
  • Black Shot: Collect 500 Rebirth Energy orbs
  • Android Shadow Orange + 500 Red Star Rings: Collect 600 Rebirth Energy orbs
• The player could also purchase all the rewards here for the appropriate amount of Robux.
• Additionally, during the original run of this Event, access to worlds from Green Hill other than Lost Valley was forbidden. Although Emerald Hill could still be accessed through a portal in Lost Valley, and Snow Valley could still be accessed through a portal in Emerald Hill, Hill Top was completely inaccessible, with a NPC of Espio replacing its portal in Snow Valley.
• Additionally, around the blocked-off portals in Green Hill were screens displaying Eggman, with countdown timers showing when the event would end.
• In the rerun, Android Shadow was specified to be an Orange version.
• Additionally, the Black Shot Extreme Gear, and 500 Red Star Rings were added as rewards during this rerun.

Hologram Havoc Event

4 February 2023 - 11 February 2023 Started 25 February 2023

• Content: Hologram Omochao, Hologram Trail, Hologram Metal Sonic
• Worlds: Lost Valley, Green Hill*
• Overview (original): Using the Egg Carrier, Eggman has begun a full invasion of Green Hill and Lost Valley in search of Android Shadow, prompting Treasure Hunter Knuckles to task the player to defeat the invading Badniks, while also collecting Emerald Shards and Treasure Keys.
• Overview (rerun): Eggman breaks the Master Emerald and sets up a Pyramid Base in Lost Valley, prompting Treasure Hunter Knuckles to task the player with defeating the Badniks, while also collecting Emerald Shards and Stone Tablets.
• Objective (original): The player must collect set amounts of Emerald Shards and Treasure Keys, and defeat set amounts of Badniks in Green Hill and Lost Valley to collect rewards.
  • Hologram Trail: Destroy 200 Badniks
  • Hologram Omochao x2: Collect 6000 Emerald Shards
  • Hologram Omochao x3: Collect 30 Treasure Keys (note that these keys do not respawn once collected, and are found at set points in Green Hill and Lost Valley, with 15 hidden in each world)
  • Hologram Metal Sonic: Complete the three previous objectives
• Objective (rerun): The player must collect set amounts of Emerald Shards and Stone Tablets, and defeat set amounts of Badniks in Lost Valley to collect rewards.
  • Hologram Trail: Destroy 100 Badniks
  • Hologram Omochao x2: Collect 3000 Emerald Shards
  • Hologram Omochao x3: Collect 30 Stone Tablets (note that these keys do not respawn once collected, and are found at set points in Lost Valley)
  • Hologram Metal Sonic + 500 Red Star Rings: Complete the three previous objectives
• The player can also purchase all the rewards here for the appropriate amount of Robux.
• Additionally, during the original Event, access to worlds from Green Hill other than Lost Valley and Metal Madness is forbidden. Although Emerald Hill can still be accessed through a portal in Lost Valley, and Snow Valley can still be accessed through a portal in Emerald Hill, Hill Top is completely inaccessible, with a NPC of Espio replacing its portal in Snow Valley.
• Additionally, around the blocked-off portals in Green Hill are screens displaying Eggman, who has apparently been hacked by Tails.

Release Shadow Event

Started 11 March 2023

• Content: Dark Chao, Chaos Spear Trail, Shadow
• World: Lost Valley
• Overview: Shadow has been locked inside of a pyramid in Lost Valley by Eggman, with four locks keeping the door to said pyramid closed. Rouge instructs the player on how to open these locks and free Shadow, which involves gathering Shadow Android Orange and Hologram Metal Sonic, as they're linked to the pyramid.
• Objective: To open the locks on the pyramid and free Shadow, Shadow Android Orange and Hologram Metal Sonic have to be unlocked from their respective events, and 100 Force Field Generators as well as 400 Badniks have to be destroyed.
  • Dark Chao x5: Destroy 100 Force Field Generators
  • Chaos Spear Trail: Destroy 400 Badniks
  • Shadow: Complete the previous objectives, and have Shadow Android Orange and Hologram Metal Sonic unlocked

Shadow's Revenge Event

Started 18 March 2023

• Content: Crimson Omochao, Eggman Trail, Flame Shadow
• World: Emerald Hill
• Overview: After being freed from his prison in Lost Valley, Omega has appeared along with a group of Super Badniks, which Omega tasks the player to destroy both to get revenge for Shadow and to satiate his own desire for destruction of Eggman's machines.
• Objective: To unlock Flame Shadow, the player has to destroy 350 Super Badniks in Green Hill and/or Emerald Hill, and deal 40 million damage. The easiest way to accomplish the latter is to go through the Emerald Hill Boss Battle several times, or destroy Drones in New Yoke City
  • Crimson Omochao x5: Destroy 350 Super Badniks

  • Shadow: Complete the previous objectives

Resistance Rebound Event

• Overview: In order to combat the oppressive rule of the Chaos Council, Rebel Rouge tasks the player to collect Metal Scraps from around New Yoke City
• Objective: The player must collect set amounts of Metal Scraps to receive rewards.
  • Resistance Chao x2: Collect 1,000 Metal Scraps
  • Paradox Prism Trail: Collect 2,500 Metal Scraps
  • Resistance Chao x3: Collect 4,500 Metal Scraps
  • New Yoke Hoverboard: Collect 7,000 Metal Scraps
  • Rebel Rouge: Collect 10,000 Metal Scraps

Metal Madness (Reborn)

Started 17 June 2023

• Tasks: Neon Sakura Chao, Metal Star, Metal Blur Trail, Metal Sonic
• Worlds: Race World, Metal Madness
• Overview: Doctor Eggman is angered at Dodon Pa for believing he is a better machine inventor. So Eggman challenges you to some races so you can inadvertently power up his new Metal Sonic.
• Objective: To unlock Metal Sonic, the player must complete various tasks in Races, the ideal racetrack to vote for when completing is Metal Madness. Once the player completes the first 4 tasks, a 5th task unlocks which will unlock Metal Sonic.
  • 2x Neon Sakura Chao: Complete 15 Races on any track.
  • 3x Neon Sakura Chao: Obtain 25,000 Grind Points in Races.
  • 5x Metal Blur Trail: Boost for 300 Seconds in Races.
  • Metal Star: Collect 2000 Mysterious Orbs (only in Metal Madness).
  • Metal Sonic + 500 Red Star Rings: Defeat Metal Sonic as a challenger in a Race 5 times (can Spawn in Metal Madness and Emerald Coast).

Fast Friends Event

Started 10 November 2023

• Content: Toy Robot Sonic, Toy Maker Tails
• Worlds: Green Hill, Hill Top
• Overview: Fast Friends have been added to the game that have powerful stat boosts.
• 0bjective: To unlock Toy Maker Tails, the player must complete 5 tasks in order which showcase the Fast Friends and how to use them. Once all 5 tasks are completed the player is rewarded with Toy Maker Tails, and 1000 Red Star Rings.
  • 100 Red Star Rings: Collect 200 Rings
  • 1x Toy Robot Sonic: Destroy 30 Badniks
  • 2x Toy Robot Sonic: Get a Fast Friend from a Vending machine
  • 2x Toy Robot Sonic: Collect 2,000 Chaos Orbs with a Fast Friend equipped.
  • 200 Red Star Rings: Successfully fuse a Fast Friend to make it 2 Stars.
• The event later got moved to Hill Top along with Fast Friend and Character Mastery related machines.

Knuckles the Dread Event

Started 13 January 2024

• Content: Pirate Captain Chao, Gunpowder Trail, Pirate Ship Hoverboard, Knuckles the Dread
• Worlds: No Place, Green Hill*, New Yoke City*
• Overview: Dread's treasure has scattered across the underwaters of No Place, find Doubloons in No Place.
• Objective: The player can find Gold Doubloons in No Place. Additionally,, Hidden Treasures can be found that give 100, but can only be opened once. After meeting certain thresholds, the player unlocks items.
  • Pirate Captain Chao x2: Collect 1,000 Doubloons
  • Gunpowder Trail x5: Collect 5,000 Doubloons
  • Pirate Captain Chao x3: Collect 10,000 Doubloons
  • Pirate Ship Hoverboard: Collect 25,000 Doubloons
  • Knuckles the Dread: Collect 40,000 Doubloons.
• Doubloons were also obtainable in Green Hill and New Yoke City while the event was being promoted.

Pixel Peril Event

Started 18 February 2024

• Content: Orange Hero Chao, Green Pixel Crush Trail, Pixel Hoverboard, Pixel Sonic
• Worlds: Cyber Station Zone
• Overview: Collect Data Disks to obtain items and Pixel Sonic.
• Objective: The player has to travel into Cyber Station Zone and collect Data Disks, which are either lying on the floor or from breaking Badniks. After meeting certain thresholds, the player unlocks items.
  • Orange Hero Chao 2x: Collect 500 Data Disks.
  • Green Pixel Crush Trail 5x: Collect 1,000 Data Disks.
  • Orange Hero Chao 3x: Collect 2,500 Data Disks.
  • Pixel Hoverboard: Collect 5,000 Data Disks.
  • Pixel Sonic + 1000 Red Star Rings: Collect 7,500 Data Disks.
• The Pixel charactes have the unique property of transforming to a voxel model whenever inside Cyber Station Zone.

Glitch Hunt Event

Started 2 March 2024

• Content: Purple Hero Chao, White Pixel Crush Trail, Pixel Amy, Pixel Knuckles
• Worlds: Cyber Station Zone
• Overview: Close Glitches to obtain items and Pixel characters.
• Objective: The player has to travel into Cyber Station Zone and close Glitches by interacting with them. After meeting certain thresholds, the player unlocks items.
  • 20:00 Magnet Boost: Close 15 Glitches.
  • 5x Purple Hero Chao: Close 30 Glitches.
  • 5x White Pixel Crush Trail: Close 125 Glitches.
  • Pixel Amy: Close 250 Glitches.
  • Pixel Knuckles + 1000 Red Star Rings: Close 500 Glitches.
• The Pixel charactes have the unique property of transforming to a voxel model whenever inside Cyber Station Zone.

Metal Overlord Event

Started 15 March 2024

• Content: Omochao, Metal Blur Trail, Neo Metal Star, Neo Metal Sonic
• World: Hill Top
• Overview: Complete tasks to obtain items and a new Neo Metal Sonic skin.
• Objective: There are five varied tasks involved in unlocking Neo Metal Sonic that must be done in order. Once the player completes all of them, they receive Neo Metal Sonic and 1000 Red Star Rings. For this event Neo Metal Sonic's boss fight was bought back, but the player doesn't need Super Sonic unlocked to access it.
  • 2x Omochao: Collect 200 Chaos Orbs in the boss fight
  • 2x Metal Blur Trail: Collect 200 Rings in the boss fight
  • 3x Omochao: Deal 15,000 damage against Neo Metal Sonic
  • 3x Metal Blur Trail: Collect 2000 Rings in the boss fight
  • Neo Metal Star: Collect 5000 Rings in the boss fight
• After the advertisement period for the event ended, it moved to Hill Top.

Freestyle Riders (Reborn)

Started 23 March 2024

• Content: Riders Chao, Blue Star, Yellow Tail, Red Rock, Riders Sonic
• World: Metal City Skatepark, Metal City Race
• Overview: Collect Air to unlock items and the Riders Sonic skin.
• Objective: The player has to collect air capsules scattered across Metal City, both the Skatepark and Race, on the ground they give 25, and in the air they give 100. After reaching milestones the player would get items.
  • Riders Chao 5x: Collect 5,000 Air.
  • Blue Star: Collect 10,000 Air.
  • Yellow Tail: Collect 25,000 Air.
  • Red Rock: Collect 50,000 Air.
  • Riders Sonic + 1000 Red Star Rings: Collect 100,000 Air.
• Riders Sonic obtained the ability to Double Jump with this event.

Metal City Event (Reborn)

Started 23 March 2024

• Content: Classic Type-J, Type-J, Hawk Blur Trail, Type-J ZG, Classic Type-W, Jet
• Worlds: Metal City Skatepark, Metal City Race, Race World
• Overview: Complete tasks to unlock items and the Jet skin.
• Objective: There are 5 varied tasks the player can complete in any order in the Metal City Race, and when all are complete, they will unlock Jet and 1.000 Red Star Rings.
  • Classic Type-J: Collect 5,000 Scrap Metal.
  • Type-J: Boost on a Extreme Gear 750 times.
  • Hawk Blur Trail x5: Beat Jet in a Race 5 times.
  • Type-J ZG: Beat Metal City Race in under 50 seconds.
  • Classic Type-W: Collect 750 Race Tickets.
• Jet obtained the ability to Double Jump with this event.

Stormy Day Event

Started 6 April 2024

• Content: Type-S, Albatross Blur Trail, E-10000G, Classic Type-S, Picky, Storm
• World: Metal City Skatepark, Metal City Race
• Overview: Complete tasks to unlock items and the Storm skin.
• Objective: There are 5 varied tasks the player has to complete in a certain order, and when all are complete, they will unlock Storm and 2,000 Red Star Rings.
  • Type-S: Collect 2,000 Chaos Orbs in Metal City Skatepark.
  • 5x Albatross Blur Trail: Perform 200 Hoverboard Tricks in Metal City Skatepark.
  • E-10000G: Destroy 500 Badniks in Metal City Skatepark.
  • Classic Type-S: Collect 100 Sky Rings in Metal City Skatepark.
  • 5x Picky: Collect 5,000 Scrap Metal in Metal City Race.
• Storm has the rare ability to Double Jump.

Amy's Animal Rescue Event (Reborn)

Started 6 April 2024

• Content: Pocky, Amy Blur Trail, Pink Rose, Pro Riders Amy
• World: Metal City Skatepark
• Overview: Save animals to unlock items and the Pro Riders Amy skin.
• Objective: Scattered across Metal City Skatepark are capsules containing Pockys. The player can open them using an Extreme Gear and take it to a designated drop off point, they can only hold 5 at a time, and at certain milestones the player gets new items.
  • Pocky x2: Save 10 Pockys.
  • Amy Blur Trail x5: Save 30 Pockys.

Tornado Assault Event

• Overview: Eggman invaded Green Hill with a swarm of Buzz Bombers, and Aviator Tails needs the players help to fight of the invasion.
• Objective: To stop the invasion, the player must complete the Tornado Assault minigame, which has them flying a vehicle of their choice through a preset path, destroying Badniks and collecting Experience Hoops along the way for more Points. Reaching certain Point milestones will unlock rewards.
  • Peach Pixel Trail 2x: Earn 1,000 Points.
  • Jewel Diamond Chao 5x; Earn 5,000 Points.
  • Peach Pixel Trail: Earn 10,000 Points.
  • Aviator Tails: Earn 20,000 Points.
  • Tornado: Earn 30,000 Points.
• Tornado Assault can be found near Tails' Lab in Emerald Hill, or via Fast Travel.
  • Due to this and the location of the invasion being in Green Hill, Tails' must have flown the player all the way back, unlike the original "Aerial Assault Event".

• Overview: Dr. Eggman has trapped Stealth Suit Sonic in a laser prison while the latter was trying to stop Eggman.
• Objective: To free Stealth Suit Sonic and uncover Eggman's plan, the player must collect 100 Data Disks that Eggman has dropped around Chemical Plant. Doing so will unlock the Stealth Suit Sonic character skin.
• This Event, while no longer advertised, is permanent, with Data Disks continuing to spawn in Chemical Plant and Stealth Suit Sonic still available to be unlocked/purchased with Robux.
• During the first two days of the Event, the player could purchase a Swap Chao for Robux (499 for one, 1799 for a bundle of five).

• The player can also buy the Armorer Chao or Mechanic Tails for the appropriate amount of Robux (499 for the Armorer Chao and Mechanic Tails, 1,999 for five Armorer Chao).
• During this event, Mechanic Tails will have set up his desk at the starting point in Green Hill. Around it are three portals leading into Green Hill Obby 1, Green Hill Obby 2 and Green Hill Obby 3, respectively. These Obbies serve as alternatives to collecting wrenches around the worlds like in other events. Inside these Obbies, the player has to race to a Capsule that has been added to the end of each Obby. If the player can reach an Obby's Capsule and press its switch within a time limit for each Obby, the player gets a free spin on a Spin Wheel in that Obby. Initially, the prizes for the Spin Wheels will be different numbers of wrenches. After earning a wrench reward from the Spin Wheel, however, one of the prizes will change to a new Chao, trail or other prizes.
• During this event, there will be Crates and Balloons that grant Rings.
• This event, while no longer advertised, is permanent. Tails has moved his setup over to nearby the portal to Green Hill Obby 1, and a Spin Wheel was also added to the end of Metal Madness.
  • The Jewel Topaz Chao was renamed into the Jewel Citrine Chao on the Green Hill Obby 2 Spin Wheel.

Mach Madness Event (Legacy)

• Overview: After Tails reprograms Metal in the "Metal Madness" Event, Metal Sonic Mach 3.0 appears in Stardust Speedway, and kidnaps three more Chao. Tails needs the help of the player and his newly reprogrammed Metal Sonic to help beat Mach 3.0 and rescue the Chao.
• Objective: To rescue the Chao and reprogram both Metal Sonic and Mach 3.0, the player needs to complete the following six tasks. Upon completing the first three tasks, the player will receive Metal Sonic as a prize:
  • Neon Lime Chao: Collect 75,000 Mysterious Orbs. (formerly 50,000)
  • Neon Orange Chao: Defeat Metal Sonic in Metal Madness three times.
  • Neon Sakura Chao: Clear Metal Madness in less than one minute and twenty seconds.
• Once the player completes these three tasks, they are now able to do the second set of tasks. After completing them, they unlock Metal Sonic Mach 3.0:
  • Jewel Amethyst Chao: Destroy 250 Balloons in Metal Madness as Metal Sonic.
  • Jewel Citrine Chao: Defeat Metal Sonic Mach 3.0 as Metal Sonic a total of ten times.
  • Jewel Jasper Chao: Race in Metal Madness as Metal Sonic for a total of twenty minutes.
• The player can also buy both the task Chao, Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic Mach 3.0 for the appropriate amount of Robux (499 for Chao, 999 for Metal Sonic/Metal Sonic Mach 3.0).
• The player can also buy the Heart Chao for the appropriate amount of Robux (499 for one, 1999 for five), this Chao has the unique property of increasing vending machine luck.
• During this event, a few platforms and boxes appear at the starting point of Green Hill, with stasis chambers containing both Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic Mach 3.0.
• Differences between the original and this rerun include Star Posts and Balloons being added at multiple points along the race.
• Balloons in Metal Madness reward the player with Mysterious Orbs instead of Rings or other Event Currency.
• Mechanic Tails moved his setup over to nearby the portal to Green Hill Obby 1, and a Spin Wheel was also added to the end of Metal Madness, which the player can spin if they beat Metal Sonic or Metal Sonic Mach 3.0.
• This event, while no longer advertised, is permanent. It can still be accessed by going to a tunnel near the big loop in Green Hill.

• Objective: To fight back, the player can collect Blue Star Rings by either defeating Buzz Bombers in Green Hill, or go on the Tornado in Tornado Assault, a new gameplay style similar to the Sky Chase levels in Sonic Adventure. Each action gives different amounts of Blue Star Rings in this level.

  • Potential: Accumulate a total of ten minutes airborne while on an Extreme Gear.

• During the first two days of the event, the player could purchase a Dark Aquatic Chao for 1,000,000 Rings.

Save Amy Event (Legacy)

  • 3x Beach Chao: Collect 1,000 Chili Dogs

  • Summer Sonic: Collect 7,500 Chili Dogs
• During this event, a barbecue tent with Chef Amy besides it can be found at the starting point in Green Hill, which gets stocked up as the player progresses with their chili dog scavenger hunt. Also, every fifteenth minute, it activates its party mode, during which Rings are scattered.
• The music played during party mode is "Theory Of Attack" from Sonic Runners.
• The player can also buy the different Beach Chao, Chef Amy, and Summer Sonic for the appropriate amount of Robux.

Metal Madness (Legacy) Event

• Overview: After Dr. Eggman had wrecked Chef Amy's beach party, Tails explains that Eggman has captured Chao and is using their life forces to power up Metal Sonic. He thus asks for help to free the Chao so he can reprogram Metal Sonic to join them.
• Objective: To rescue the Chao and reprogram Metal Sonic, the player needs to complete the following three tasks. Upon completing each task, the player will receive a prize:
  • Neon Lime Chao: Collect 3,000 Mysterious Orbs.
  • Neon Orange Chao: Defeat Metal Sonic in Metal Madness three times.
  • Neon Sakura Chao: Clear Metal Madness in less than one minute and twenty seconds.
• Upon completing all the tasks above, the player will be rewarded with a Metal Sonic character skin.

• Objective: To eliminate the ghosts, the player must go around Green Hill and attack the ghosts to get rid of them. Boos give 25 points, while Boom Boos give 500 points. Upon reaching certain milestones, the player will receive rewards.

  • Moonlight Chao x2: Collect 35 Volcanic Crystals in Hill Top.
  • Moonlight Chao x3: Collect 200 Witch's Blooms in Snow Valley.

Unleash the Beast Event

• Overview: Sonic is fully overcome by Dark Gaia energy and transforms into his Werehog form. He needs the player's help to collect the Sun and Moon medals that have the power to tame feral beasts.
• Objective: To help Sonic, the player must complete three different objectives, all of which are completed in Pumpkin Hill. Once they complete all three tasks, they will unlock the Werehog as a playable skin.
  • Pumpkin Trail x1: Collect 35,000 Sun Medals.
  • Spice Latte Chao x2: Destroy 500 Dark Bats.
  • Spice Latte Chao x3: Earn 5,000 Moon Medals from Time Trials.
• Time Trials: This involves a new feature in Time Trials, which are run by Orbot. Depending on how fast the player is in completing the trial, they get better rewards. Originally, the additional reward for getting Gold tier was only five Candy, but it was buffed to 10 during the midweek update. The results are additive, so if the player gets something like Silver, they also get the Bronze rewards.

  • Detective Chao x3: Collect 75,000 Digital Footprints.
  • Golden Metal Sonic 3.0: Collect 150,000 Digital Footprints.

Frontiers Tag Event

12 November 2022 - 3 December 2022

• Overview: Sonic has been trapped in a container made from cyber energy, and Amy hears a voice in her head telling her that in order to free Sonic, they must collect Memory Tokens. She asks for the players help in a Tag minigame in Cyber Space to collect enough.
• Objective: To free Sonic, the player must collect Memory Tokens from a Tag minigame in Cyber Space, any participating players are split randomly into 2 groups, red and blue. One is randomly chosen to be "It" and has to chase down the other team, after 1 minute and 30 seconds. The roles swap and it happens again. The winner is the team with the most tags. The player get Memory Tokens as the accumulated total of the entire teams final score.
  • Cyber Energy Trail x1: Collect 50 Memory Tokens
  • Sprout Chao x1: Collect 75 Memory Tokens
  • Sprout Chao x2: Collect 100 Memory Tokens
  • Sprout Chao x2: Collect 150 Memory Tokens

Espio's Insight Event

  • Other: Samurai Chao
• Overview: Espio the Chameleon informs the player that there is an evil force "corrupting the world's life support systems." He needs the players help to find Elemental Scrolls to develop his ninjitsu knowledge.
• Objective: To help Espio, the player has to collect Elemental Scrolls found throughout the 6 main worlds in the game. There are clumps of 10 close to spawn, while there are clumps of 30 further from spawn.
  • Espio Blur Trail x1: Collect 50,000 Elemental Scrolls.
  • Water Ninja Chao x2: Collect 75,000 Elemental Scrolls.
  • Water Ninja Chao x3: Collect 100,000 Elemental Scrolls.
  • Espio the Chameleon: Collect 150,000 Elemental Scrolls.
• Time Trials: The player can also complete Time Trials in Green Hill or Diamond Terminal to obtain Elemental Scrolls. Depending on how fast they were in completing the trial, they can get better rewards. The results are additive, so if they get Silver, they also get the Bronze rewards. All six Time Trials give the same amount of Elemental Scrolls, but the times required, and XP and Rings rewarded may vary.
  • Bronze: 250 Elemental Scrolls.
  • Silver: 500 Elemental Scrolls.
  • Gold: 1000 Elemental Scrolls.

Shinobi Strike Event

• Overview: Kunoichi Amy spots her master, Espio practicing in a secluded area, she wants to learn the way of the Ninja and wants the players help.
• Objective: To help Amy learn the way of the ninja, the player has to collect Jitsu Scrolls found throughout the six main worlds in the game. There are clumps of 10 close to spawn, while there are clumps of 30 further from spawn.
  • Jitsu Trail: Collect 50,000 Jitsu Scrolls
  • Fire Ninja Chao x2: Collect 75,000 Jitsu Scrolls.
  • Fire Ninja Chao x3: Collect 100,000 Jitsu Scrolls.
  • Kunoichi Amy: Collect 150,000 Jitsu Scrolls.
• The player can also purchase all the rewards here for the appropriate amount of Robux.
• During this event, additional rails appeared all over Green Hill, similar in function to the ones found in the air in Sonic Frontiers.
• Due to ending a day prematurely the first time around and popular demand, it reran for the week after the Espio's Insight Event.

Sonic Prime Premiere Event

10 December 2022 - 17 December 2022

• Content: World Premiere, New Yoke Tag Arena
  • Tasks: Prism Trail, Popcorn Chao, Rusty Rose, Sonic (New Yoke Style)
  • Other: Prism Chao
• Overview: The player can watch the global premiere of the first episode of Sonic Prime, that has immersive feedback in-game in certain parts, and participate in a Tag minigame for rewards.
• Objective: The player can get a free Popcorn Chao at the entrance to the World Premiere. The player can also participate in the Tag minigame based off of New Yoke City. Any participating players are split randomly into two groups: red and blue. One is randomly chosen to be "It" and has to chase down the other team, after 1 minute and 30 seconds. The roles swap and it happens again. The winner is the team with the most tags. The player progresses through the tasks at a rate dependent on their team's final score.
  • Prism Trail: 50/300 Progress

Gotta Snow Fast Event

  • Tasks: Santa Sonic, Nine, Elf Tails, Reindeer Chao, Jolly Trail, Elf Chao, Gingerbread Chao, Evergreen Chao, Santa Sleigh Hoverboard
• Overview: Santa Sonic wants to cheer Nine up, so he asks the player to collect Gingerbread Cookies to get him into the holiday spirit.
• Objective: The player must collect set amounts of Gingerbread Cookies scattered around Green Hill to collect rewards.
  • Jolly Trail: Collect 25000 Gingerbread Cookies
  • Elf Chao x2: Collect 50000 Gingerbread Cookies
  • Elf Chao x3: Collect 75000 Gingerbread Cookies
  • Santa Sonic: Collect 100000 Gingerbread Cookies
  • Tails Nine: Collect 150000 Gingerbread Cookies
• The player could also purchase all the rewards here for the appropriate amount of Robux.
• In addition to the tasks, the player could collect free Candy Canes every hour, and use them to purchase rewards at Tails' Winter Workshop.

Jewel Rush Event

• Overview: Eggman's digging operations for Paradox Prism shards in Green Hill have uncovered rare gemstones. Prime Rouge asks the player to recover some for her.
• Objective: The player must collect set amounts of Moonstones scattered around Green Hill to collect rewards.
  • Moonglow Trail: Collect 25,000 Moonstones
  • Miner Chao x2: Collect 50,000 Moonstones
  • Miner Chao x3: Collect 75,000 Moonstones
  • Prime Rouge: Collect 100,000 Moonstones

• In the second week of this event, Eggman invaded Green Hill, plastering monitors and logos of himself everywhere.
  • Additionally, there was a sale where the player could purchase an exclusive Rengoku Extreme Gear.
