Sonic Rivals Dash is a browser game developed to promote Sonic Rivals. The game was featured on Sonic Rivals' official website before it was shut down.
Gameplay
Sonic Rivals Dash offers two modes of gameplay: 1 player and 2 player.
- In 1 player mode, the player controls Sonic the Hedgehog in a 2D environment. The player can move Sonic forward by holding down the Z key, jump with the X key and perform a slide attack with the C key. The objective of 1 player mode is to reach the goal in the shortest amount of time possible whilst avoiding Egg Pawns and collecting Rings.
- In 2 player mode, the first player controls Sonic while the second player controls Shadow the Hedgehog. The controls for Sonic are the same as in 1 player mode, whilst Shadow uses the J, K, and L keys respectively. The objective of 2 player mode is to reach the goal before the opponent does. A player can slow down the opponent by attacking them, also causing them to lose rings.
In addition to the game, the main menu offers several other options, such as updates for Sonic Rivals, a leaderboard for highscores and an e-postcard sending service.
