Sonic Racing[1][2] is a mobile racing game developed by Sega and SEGA HARDlight. It was released for the Apple Arcade service on iOS devices, Mac and Apple TV on 19 September 2019. It was released to promote Team Sonic Racing.
Development
The game was announced on 25 March 2019 as one of the first titles for Apple's new Apple Arcade service in an event held by Apple.[1][2]

- This is the first Sonic mobile app game where Sonic has a new 3D model for the game icon.
- Every Wisp in the game is named after their respective Color Power.
- The game mistakenly refers to the Invincibility Shield as a Wisp.
- Blaze and Rouge's artwork are reused from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).
- Sonic's profile consists of lyrics taken from "Fastest Thing Alive", the theme song for the Sonic the Hedgehog television series.
