This is a set of general guidelines to follow when creating and editing mainspace articles concerning an musicalbum (sometimes referred to as sound track or vocal track) related to the Sonic the Hedgehog series franchise. Although this is an official guide, editors are encouraged to stray from them if it will improve the overall quality of the article.
Yellow boxes are general guidelines meant to pertain to the main text on the page.
Green boxes are guidelines for headers.
Red boxes are guidelines for anything else.
The "Infobox album" template is to be inserted here. Information in regards to the music album are to be filled as much as possible including, but not limited to: Date(s) of release, media format, contributing personnel (eg. performers, song writers, composers), publisher(s) etc. The cover art of the album or soundtrack is to be used for the infobox image, preferably no larger than 300x300 pixels.
This is the summary. The purpose of this is to surmmarise the music album in in regards to real-world information such as the date it aired/released the media it appeared it (eg. game or TV Show) including mentions of significant songs or soundtrack which makes it debut (eg. a theme song).
The track list is to be inserted here. The track list is to appear in the format of a table. There should be at least 5 columns. From left to right listed are: (1) Track number, (2) Song name (3) Music file (in .ogg format), (4) Length (minutes:seconds format), (5) composers/performers (if known). Some music tracks may contain divided section, such as "DISK 1" or "DISK 2" or similar. In such cases, each music track table information are to be divided under subheadings of the respective disk name.
The Trivia section is about small pieces of information about the music album that do not fit in any of the sections above. Here, the editor must make a list of these little-known facts by using bullet points (*), where each piece of information being given its own paragraph. Please note it is required that the Trivia is informative, not lengthy and pointless.
This section is for images in regards to the music album. Images here should include images such as the front cover art, or back cover of the music album (if physical copies of the subject exists)
All imagery to be placed in the gallery must be of official sources only (having appeared in at least one officially released, or licensed media.)
References and citations of where each piece of information gathered from is to be placed here, utilising the "Reflist" template.
