Sonic Heroes/Script (Team Rose)

This is the script of Team Rose's storyline in Sonic Heroes.

Opening

[It is a sunny but windy day at the beach. Amy is lounging on a deckchair on the pier with Cream resting on a parasol, while "Follow Me" plays in the background. Amy is looking at an image of Sonic, Froggy and Chocola in a newspaper article.]

Amy: Ahh... I wonder where Sonic is?

[The wind suddenly picks up and blows the paper away.]

Amy: Oh no!

[Amy tries and fails to grab the paper. Cream flies up and also makes an attempt, but fails.]

Cream: Oh!

[Cheese swiftly soars forward and grasps the paper, much to Amy's relief.]

Cheese: Chao!

Amy: Wooo...

[Cream and Cheese drop down to the ground.]

Cream: Amy, please be more careful with our only clue.

Amy: You're right, I'm sorry.

[The wind blows even harder now, strong enough to lift Cream into the sky despite her attempt to cling on to the pier.]

Cream: Aah! Aah!

[Big casts his fishing line into the air and hooks Cream. He reels her in, bounces her on his umbrella, and catches her in his arm.]

Big: Hoh!

Amy: Nice catch, Big!

Big: Huhuhuhu...

[Big and Cream gaze longingly at Froggy and Chocola in the picture in the article.]

Big: Froggy...

Cream: Chocola...

Amy: Hey you guys, cheer up! You know we'll find them! No time to waste just standing here. C'mon, let's get going!

Cream and Big: Okay!

[Amy and Cream rush off on their adventure. Big stumbles to let them past, and then goes after them.]

Before fighting Team Sonic

[Team Rose are waiting on a high platform in Grand Metropolis just as Team Sonic show up.]

Amy: Gotcha! My darling Sonic!

Sonic: Amy, what are you doing here?

Amy: Sonic, this time there's no way outta marrying me!

After beating Egg Albatross

[Amy is inspecting the defeated Eggman lying on the floor in Bullet Station. She is taken by surprise as an Eggman head springs out of its belly, revealing that it is merely a model set up as a decoy for the team. The model speaks in Eggman's voice. Amy shakes her fist and stomps angrily.]

Dr. Eggman (model): Muhahaha! Muhahaha!

Amy: Hey! It's just a stupid copy!

[Big is more focused on Froggy, as always, but is despondent.]

Big: Froggy... where are you? Let's go home...

[Meanwhile, Cheese is in melancholy about Chocola being missing.]

Cream: Cheese, what's wrong?

Cheese: Chocola-Chao!

Cream: Yes...

Amy: A Chao-napping!

Cream: But... why?

Amy: I'm not really sure, but betcha Dr. Eggman has something to do with it! And we're not gonna let him get away with it. C'mon, let's get outta here!

Cheese: Chao!

Cream: Okay!

Big: Okie-dokie!

[The team head off in pursuit of Eggman.]

Before fighting Team Chaotix

[Team Rose and Team Chaotix run into each other in Frog Forest.]

Vector: Excuse me, Miss. I was wondering if I could ask you something.

Amy: If it's about a date, it'll have to wait!

Vector: A DATE?! You think this is a joke, you little brat?

Espio: Now hand over that Chao, nice and easy...

[Cream, slightly unnerved, hugs Cheese protectively.]

Cream: I betcha you're the ones who took Chocola-Chao.

Vector: What?!

Big: It's not nice to tease my friends.

[Charmy anticipates an epic battle and becomes excited.]

Charmy: Yeah, time to rock 'n' roll!

After beating Egg Emperor

[Team Rose are staring down at the defeated phony Eggman in his fortress. The decoy melts into a black fluid and Froggy and Chocola emerge from the puddle. Big is ecstatic as he picks up and plays with Froggy.]

Big: FROGGY! Hehehehehe...

[Cheese and Chocola fly towards each other and embrace happily.]

Cheese: Chao Chao Chao Chao Chao!

[A voice can be heard from the black puddle...]

Neo Metal Sonic: Chaos data... has been copied.

Cream: I'm so glad for you, Cheese!

Big: Huhuhehehe...

Cheese: Amy Chao Chao!

Amy and Cream: Hahahaha!

[Cream spots Team Sonic a short distance away.]

Cream: Hey, isn't that mister Sonic over there?

[Amy reacts to this information and charges at Sonic.]

Amy: Aha! I gotcha, Sonic! SONIC!!

Cream and Big: Hehehehe! Hahahaha!
