Sonic Gems Collection (ソニック ジェムズ コレクション Sonikku jemuzu korekushon?) is a video game compilation developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega in 2005 for the Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2. It compiles the more obscure Sonic games not featured on Sonic Mega Collection in addition to the six Sega Game Gear that were not featured in the aforementioned compilation.

In the Museum, a number of classic Sonic games can be unlocked. When selected, the player starts on the game's final Boss and has a time limit. If the player wins the game under the time limit, they can continue playing from the beginning of the game until the time runs out.

Trivia
- The PS2 version is region-locked so that it plays the original soundtrack of Sonic the Hedgehog CD on a Japanese system; if it detects another region (even European), it defaults to the American soundtrack, and there is no in-game music selection. This is not the case for the GameCube release, which may have been done to save space.
- The version of Sonic R in the GameCube release supports up to four players, whereas the PlayStation 2 version only supports up to two players.
- SegaSonic the Hedgehogwas initially planned as a title to be included in this compilation but was left out due to problems with emulating the game's original trackball control scheme.
- Sonic Eraser was initially planned to be included in the compilation, but was not for unknown reasons.[citation needed]
- Furthermore, three Mega Drive games from the Wonder Boy Series were also planned, but were not included for unknown reasons.
- Two of the games not included (Sonic Eraser and Monster World IV) have a different color for the "MD" Symbol (the original "MD" is pink/purple, while the other is orange\red).
- Knuckles' Chaotix was originally planned to be included in the compilation, but it was not due to the difficult nature of emulating the 32X software.
- The song "Sonic 3 MegaD Mix" was included in the album, True Colors: The Best of Sonic the Hedgehog Part 2, unedited.
- The Unlockable Demos are all from Sonic Mega Collection Plus, even though they are all still playable on the GameCube.
