Sonic Frontiers Prologue[1] is a 2D cartoon animated special intended to serve as a prequel to Sonic Frontiers. It is set to be released before the release of Sonic Frontiers in 2022.[1]
Promotion
Sonic Frontiers Prologue was first revealed on the 2022 Sonic Central livestream presentation on YouTube. During the presentation, the special, some of its contents, and its release window were revealed. In addition, a short sneak peak of the special was shown.[1]
Plot
Set before the events of Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Frontiers Prolouge will feature Knuckles the Echidna as he guards the Master Emerald in the Altar of Emerald.[1]
