Sonic Frontiers: The Music of Starfall Islands

Sonic Frontiers: The Music of Starfall Islands^[1]^[2] (ソニックフロンティアスターフォール諸島の音楽, Sonikku Furontia Sutāfōru Shotō no Ongaku^?) is a vinyl album containing the soundtrack to the mainline game Sonic Frontiers. The album was released in partnership between Data Discs, Sega and the game's composer, Tomoya Ohtani.^[3]

The album was released in two different sets. The 2xLP set features double 180g vinyl discs on translucent "Sonic Blue" color, consisting of 16 selected music tracks centered around each one of Starfall Islands. This set comes with lithographic art print of the Japanese game cover and is packed into a heavyweight single pocket sleeve.^[1] The second, limited edition set comes with quadruple 180g vinyl discs on frosted clear with green, orange, red and blue splatter. The 4xLP Box Set consists of 26 tracks with every movement/variation of each island's background music, as well also features four illustrated inner sleeves and four lithographic art prints, including both the Japanese and Western game covers.^[2] Both vinyl set releases include 12 page booklet featuring extensive liner notes by Tomoya Ohtani as well island maps and screenshots from the game being exclusive in the 4xLP Box Set.^[1]^[2]

Pre-orders were made available on 22 October 2022 with 2xLP set being shipped out on or before 15 December 2022.^[1]^[4] The 4xLP Box Set was shipped in February 2023.^[2]^[4]
