This article contains a list of glitches from Sonic Forces: Speed Battle. Unless otherwise noted, all glitch names are conjectural. Many of them have not been confirmed by Sega.

List of Glitches[]

Slide Effect Glitch[]

This glitch can be done with any character, but has a greater chance of occurring with a character who can use Ice Mine, Explosive Mine, or Tornado. The player or a rival must set the Item down and must jump and slide on top of it. If done correctly, the player can get the animation of the character when they are sliding but stuck to the Item while advancing. The glitch can easily be fixed by jumping and sliding again.

Babylon Characters Stretching out[]

For whatever reason, if one encounters a match of another player with a Babylon Rogues character (not including Ice Slicer Jet), when the "3, 2, 1, GO!" appears, the Rogues character will be seen stretched before they come into view. It only lasts for about two seconds before disappearing (the player who chooses the character will not see this glitch occur).

Dead Limbs[]

Some of the characters in the game have a shared glitch where the faster they go on the track with quite a few Dash Pads, towards the latter half of the race, their run animations will not perform as well anymore. For example, for characters like Amy and Tikal, they run with their hands swaying from side to side. As they progress further in the level, their hands instead droop by their sides and do not move again unless the player performs a slide or a Spin Jump. For characters like Tails and Silver, they will run normally. Later on, as they run, their feet will barely touch the ground and only bob up and down in place.

Gamma Rarity Glitch[]

Upon unlocking E-102 Gamma, there is a chance for the character slot background to change from purple to dark grey and the character to appear at the end of the list. Going past Specials and Challengers in this, Gamma is only a Super Rare; because of this glitch, they are considered by some people who encountered the glitch an "Ultra Rare". This glitch can be fixed by going into a race with this glitched Gamma and the background will change back to normal as well as it returning to the Super Rare section.

Character Icon Glitch[]

There is a glitch where if the game crashes and you come back some character icons will be whited out. The developers have updated this to show a "?" icon instead.
