An image of a Spring, which is never seen in the game.
ob_common_dash_panel
Though an early design of a Dash Panel, this one had a blue triangle. The final one uses a yellow one instead.
ob_common_dash_ring
An image of a Dash Ring, which are never seen throughout the game.
ob_common_conveyor_fast
ob_common_conveyor_slow
Early images of the Conveyor Belts.
Bee
Beewithattack
Two sprites of a bee enemy, possibly meant for the Buzz Bombers. It would seem that they would also attack the player, rather than simply standing in place.
Crabmeat
A drawing of a Crabmeat, which is never seen in the final game.
Springtarget
Judging by the image and filename, it's possible that the player could have used the Homing Attack after bouncing off a Spring.
ob_common_dash_panel_triple
According to it's filename, this appears to be a placeholder for the Triple Dash Panels. An "S" is seen drawn on the top.
Start
A sprite for starting a race.
Finish
A sprite of the finish line.
Tutorial
A placeholder of the tutorial.
Fire_glow_sprite
Judging by the filename, this appears to be a a glowing effect for the Fireball power-up.
Several camera test graphics for Loops and Corkscrews.
imput_force
imput_limit
Unknown. It could've been used testing for a controller port.
N/A
Two Drone badniks with letters "F" and "G" in front of them.
General[]
Image
Description
Early versions of several assets of the game. Most notably, there's early versions of the race icons, using stock artwork rather than being based off of the Sonic Forces ones. Interestingly, Chaos and Omega's icons use uncreditedfan-art made by Nibroc Sarkaria.
An unused chest type, looking to what possibly could be an earlier version of the Free Chests the player can get. The filename for this sprite is "Friends_chest" indicating that you could get chests from friends who also have the game installed. It's lock icon could highly associate to this as it appears it be a speech bubble with small people icons inside of it.
An unused texture of Paladin Amy's hammer for her Victory Purple Chroma.
An unused texture of Paladin Amy's hammer for her Ruby Red Chroma.
An unused bomb power-up. It's unknown which character would've used this.
Tracks[]
Two unused tracks of Planet Wisp can be found in the games files. In the final game, only Mining Mayhem (and it's reverse variant) is used. This suggests that there would've been three tracks of Planet Wisp rather than just one.
Image
Description
This track has the Mother Wisp included in it. By it's image, the players would have had to go around her as they progress through the track.
This image is purple for whatever reason. All that can be seen is a straight path with several trees surrounding it.
Unused characters[]
Honey Charmy's model
In the game's files, the name for a variant of Tails called "Cupid Tails" can be found as a leftover asset. Judging by it's name, it was most likely meant for a Valentine's Day event. It is unknown if it will be featured in the future.[1] A model for a variant of Charmy seemingly named "Honey Charmy" can be found as well, which was added alongside Spring Cream.
Unused model[]
A model of E-102 Gamma performing the Spin Jump can be found in the game's files. This was scrapped in favor of him hovering instead.
