The following is a list of the many updates Sonic Dash has received from 2019 onwards.

2019[]

Version 4.0.0 (2019) - The update has brought the following changes:
- Animals have been introduced to be saved from Badniks.
- Sky Sanctuary Zone and Snow Mountain Zone have been added to the game.
- Vector and Charmy now appear as playable characters in the game.
- Zones can be restored to unlock new characters, Zones, and bonuses.
Version 4.0.1 (2019) - Implemented bug fixes and refinements.
Version 4.0.2 (2019) - The update has brought the following changes:
- Mushroom Hill Zone has been added to the game.
- Mushroom Hill Zone can be unlocked and restored.
- Jet has been added to the game as a playable character.
- Picky has been added to the game as a rescuable Animal.

Version 4.8.0 (February 2020) - The update has brought the following changes:
- Teen Sonic and Baby Sonic have been added to the game as limited time playable characters.
- Golden Bay Zone has been added to the game as a limited time Zone.
- Dr. Robotnik from the Sonic the Hedgehog film has been added to the game as a limited time boss fight.

- Christmas characters can now be unlocked by purchasing them for $3.99 USD for a limited time.
- The addition of Jingle Belle Amy as a playable character.

Version 4.20.0 (10 May 2021) - Ahoy! We have a double surprise lined up for a very special birthday this year! Keep a look out for our upcoming swashbuckling event!
- Pirate Sonic and Captain Shadow have been added as playable characters.
- Bongo, the mascot of Danimals, has been added as a playable character exclusive to the United States.

Version 5.5.0 (21 June 2022) Unlock Classic Sonic and Movie Super Sonic in this birthday celebration. Collect birthday items on-track to unlock great prizes, including Classic Sonic. Collect tokens on track to unlock Movie Super Sonic! Let me show you super sonic power!

Find cards on track and unlock your favourite holiday Runners.

Santa Big, Jingle Belle Amy, Nutcracker Silver, and Elf Classic Sonic will all be available in this update.

We’re also thrilled to unveil a frosty addition to the roster! Introducing Snowdrift Sonic, he’s here to bring the holiday joy and capture the festive spirit!

We have also made further improvements to the Character cards system, and you can find more rewards from completing levels.

2024[]

Version 7.6.0 (23 January 2024) - With a new year comes new characters!

Feel the might and power of dragons! Events for the fierce Dragonfire Sonic and the powerful Dragonclaw Tails will be appearing soon!

We will also be delivering to you the engaging Valentine Rouge who will be stealing hearts and claiming high scores!

Version 7.7.0 (11 March 2024) - Blaze returns to Sonic Dash, you will be able to collect cards for the Imperial Princess in her Card Party event!
