Sonic Colors Comics (ソニックカラーズコミックス[1] Sonikku Karāzu Komikkusu?) is a digital manga[2] series that served as a promotion for Sonic Colors: Ultimate, its purpose being to promote the aforementioned game. Two "episodes" were released on the official Sonic Twitter pages and Sonic Channel, and each issue features a short story that together form an overarching plot which serves as a prequel to Sonic Colors: Ultimate.[3][4]

Trivia[]
- This is not the first time a Sonic manga was titled a comic. The first Sonic story outside of Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) is titled; Sonic the Hedgehog Story Comic, and the Sonic Comic issues also made by Eitaro Toyoda are also referred as such despite the manga style. This is due to the fact mangas are comics and are typically referred to as comics in Japan but they own a distinct style to western comics.
