Image Zone Description
Title screen A large spinning ring loaded on the title screen, which is unused due to Sonic and Tails not being separate sprites from the object. They are not found in the Japanese files and are bigger than their Sonic the Hedgehog counterparts.
Turquoise Hill Zone An unused diagonal spring.
Gigalopolis Zone One default spring, four springs in front of some background blocks and accompanying spikes.
A left-facing quarter pipe.
Sleeping Egg Zone A diagonal spring in front of checkerboard background tiles and accompanying spike graphics.
Two unused different slope types.
Mecha Green Hill Zone Diagonal springs and spikes set in front of the mesh background tiles.
A small unused level set piece.
Aqua Planet Zone Two different spring types, along with two background objects.
Electric Egg Zone A quarter pipe and spring type.
Special Stage (#1) A number of background pieces intended to be placed with the diagonal background tiles, including the spikes.
Unused quarter pipe blocks.
Special Stage (#2) Giant Ring, a purple and red coral, spikes, and an upward spring.
Unused slope and quarter pipe tiles.
