This article pertains to the beta elements of Sonic Advance 2.
Streaming video
The short streaming video of Sonic Advance 2 shows footage from an early version of the game which holds a few differences. The video also appears as extra content in Sonic Mega Collection.

 In the streaming video, Sonic Advance 2 originally had a simpler title screen. Here, the background always scrolls downwards.  An early character selection used character sprites from Sonic Advance and lacked the diagonal "SA2" text in the background.  An early level select. The lake in Leaf Forest is not present, the piece of Music Plant's island is missing and Chaos Emerald counter is not featured. |
