Sonic-Grams Extra

Sonic-Grams Extra, also known as Sonic Extra was a routinely-published newsletter released by Archie Comics. Intended to promote upcoming issues of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs, it was provided for free to Sonic readers, and released alongside current issues. Although the exact release date of the first issue is unknown, it released sometime prior to Summer of 1995, when the second issue was published. The final known issue of the newsletter was released alongside Sonic the Hedgehog #49.

Each newsletter issue consisted of a single page with black-and-white printing on both sides. In addition to containing solicitations for then-upcoming issues, Sonic-Grams Extra also featured strategy tips for Sonic the Hedgehog games, and information about staff members behind the comic series and its spin-offs.
