The Soap Bubble Mecha is based on a seahorse, as well as sharing some visual similarities to the Aquis from the 16-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. These Badniks have a curved light blue body, a bellows-like midsection that compresses when they blow bubbles, and a flared tube-like mouth.

In Sonic Superstars, the Soap Bubble Mechas appear throughout Golden Capital Zone. In gameplay, the Soap Bubble Mecha is a stationary Badnik that hovers in the air and shoots bubbles from their mouth at intervals. While the bubbles that the Soap Bubble Mechas shoot can bounce the player back, the player can also take advantage of these bubbles by bouncing off of them, allowing them to either reach higher areas within the zone or have an easier chance of destroying the Soap Bubble Mecha itself. A Soap Bubble Mecha can be easily destroyed via any attack method, with them also releasing an Animal and awarding the player 100 points upon destruction as well.
Powers and abilities[]
True to their name, the Soap Bubble Mechas can shoot out bubbles that can bounce their foes all over the place. In addition, they are also capable of levitating above the ground as well.
