Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary in the Snowcap Mountain Zone, from Sonic the Comic #134. Black and white art by Bob Corona and color by Nigel Dobbyn.

The Snowcap Mountain Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a Zone of Mobius. As the name suggests, it is a mountainous Zone, and even in Summer, snow lies in thick drifts on the ground and on the trees. One part of the Zone is renowned among the locals as being a "place of strange goings on".

When Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary visited this part of the Zone (in search of the source of some strange energy readings), they were nearly caught in an avalanche, attacked by an icicle-shooting trap accosted by an intangible "ghost", and nearly plunged into a chasm. By evading all of these dangers, they passed the tests of the Ring of Eternity, who then offered them a chance to travel across time and space, helping the people of other worlds.[1]
