The Snail Blaster is a character that appears in Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie. It is a snail-based robot model created by Dr. Robotnik that patrols Robotropolis.
Appearance[]
The Snail Blasters are based on snails. They have a pale yellow body, two eyes balls with black dots for pupils connected to the body via cables, and a red shell with a blue upper frame and a grey wheels on each side.
History[]

Sonic Vs. Metal Sonic!![]
A group of Snail Blasters were guarding the inner sanctum of Mobotropolis when Sonic, Tails and Knuckles arrived to shut down the Robot Generator. Detecting the intruders, the Snail Blasters ambushed the heroes with heavy fire, forcing Knuckles to take care of them while Sonic and Tails kept going.
Powers and abilities[]
Snail Blasters are able to climb walls while using their wheels. Their shells can also retract to reveal two cannons that can fire super-fast and highly explosive energy balls.

- This version of the Snail Blaster was based on the concept drawings of its game counterpart instead of its in-game graphics.
