"Sleepers" is the thirty-sixth episode of the Sonic Underground television series. It first aired on 9 May 1999 in France and on 18 October 1999 in the United States. It was included in Volume 2 and Band on the Run.

Plot

On a mission in a distant sector of Robotropolis, the Hedgehogs are informed that freedom fighters have disappeared and are going to be roboticized. Sonic races to save his friends, but he is too late. The group of freedom fighters have been roboticized, including Cyrus' father. Cyrus and the Hedgehogs, now motivated by the injustice of what has happened, attempt to end the construction of the potent sleeper bombs that enabled Robotnik to capture a vital portion of the resistance.
