This is the transcript of the Sonic Prime episode, "Situation: Grim".

[Scene: New Yoke City]

[Eggforcers and Security Drones are looking around for possible members of the Resistance.]

Squad Commander Red: Squad Commander Blue, this is Squad Commander Red. Initiate Operation: Cheese.

Eggforcers: Possible rebel suspect. Inspection initiated. Scanning for rebel soldiers. Resistance icon identified.

[Just as the Eggforcers were going to continue their search, they heard a loud bang around them. They turned around to see a Security Drone had been shot down by a member of the Resistance.]

Eggforcers: It's a trap.

Squad Commander Red: Now!

[The members of the Resistance begin shooting at the Eggforcers with laser guns. Renegade Knucks is in lead of defending the members. A few seconds later, Rusty Rose appears and sees the Eggforcers being taken down. She runs over to where the Eggforcers are trying to escape from to see what is going on, only to find that the Resistance were taking down the Eggforcers.]

Rusty Rose: Recording initiated.

Squad Commander Red: Eat plasma, you dirty bots.

[The camera cuts to a far scenery of New Yoke City. A portal appears and Sonic falls out of it, screaming.]

Rusty Rose: Blue hedgehog detected.

Sonic: Whoa!

[Just as Sonic thinks he is about to fall, half of the veins he brought with him back to New Yoke City from Boscage Maze prevent him from falling. He looks around in confusion, realizing that he has arrived back in New Yoke City.]

Sonic: I'm back in New Yoke City? How did I end up back--

[Sonic hears Renegade Knucks screaming. He looks ahead and sees that he is taking down most of the Eggforcers with the Resistance.]

Renegade Knucks: For a better tomorrow! [He hits two of the robots with a metal pipe.] Who's with me?!

[The opening theme plays]

[The camera cuts back to New Yoke City. The Eggforcers are shooting at the Resistance, when one of the lasers hits the veins that Sonic landed in and he falls down, hurting himself. He quickly gets up and dodges a few lasers being fired at him, then is spun around by two of the Resistance members running past him.]

Sonic: New Yoke City isn't quite how I remember it.

[Renegade Knucks notices Sonic.]

Renegade Knucks: Sonic? Never thought I'd see your smug mug again. Where were you?

[Renegade Knucks pushes away an Eggforcer flying towards him. Rusty Rose moves in to get a closer look.]

Sonic: Dude, I had zero intention of leaving you. [Sonic takes down an Eggforcer.] I touched the Shard and I got zipped into another world with another you fighting another battle.

Renegade Knucks: Shard? You mean that energy crystal thingy?

Sonic: Yeah, that.

[Sonic and Renegade Knucks both take down Eggforcers at the same time.]

Rusty Rose: "Shard"...?

Sonic: Anyway, super stoked to be back to help with whatever the heck's going on here. Where's Nine? I gotta pick his brain about this other Shard I found.

Renegade Knucks: Nine? I ought to be asking you the same question. Now do me a solid and pipe down. I got shells to crack.

[He spin attacks all of the Eggforcers.]

Sonic: [Chuckles] Nice spin attack, by the way. [Wags his finger and flicks his nose] But I bet you can't do this.

[Sonic spins on top of the heap of robots and peels out on top of each one, tossing them to collide into airborne Eggforcers. An Eggforcer is checked by Squad Commander Red and Rebel Rouge, shooting lasers.]

Eggforcer: Retreat.

[The last robot retreats. The Resistance cheer, while Rusty Rose leaves. Sonic continues celebrating by laughing until Renegade Knucks confronts him, causing him to stop.]

Sonic: Still bummed about me disappearing.

Renegade Knucks: [Growling at his face.] Come on. [Walks away from Sonic] All right. Everybody scatter. [Everyone including the Resistance scatter in various places, while a Security Drone hovers in, patrolling the scene.]

[Scene Change: Yoke HQ]

[The Chaos Council are gathered around.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [Annoyed] First, they steal our energy crystal. Now these ants decide to stand up for themselves? How dare they.

[He slams his fist. Dr. Babble gibbers an idea.]

Dr. Deep: The baby is right. We won't rest until every last rebel has been sentenced to-- [slams his fist] oblivion.

Dr. Don't: [Scoffs while playing a video game] Or until our backup power runs out.

[A door whirs open. Rusty Rose comes in.]

Rusty Rose: Sonic is back.

[Rusty Rose uploads her recorded footage watched by the Council. It shows Sonic screaming while he falls down; followed by him battling the Eggforcers.]

Sonic: I had zero intention of leaving you. I touched the Shard and I got zipped into another world with another you fighting another battle.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Another world? And what does he mean by "Shard"?

Dr. Don't: [Annoyed] He means the energy crystal. Duh.

Sonic: Where's Nine? I gotta pick his brain about this other Shard I found.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [Shocked] What? Another Shard? We can power a city with one Shard. Imagine what we could do with two Shards.

Dr. Don't: There might be like several Shards.

[Dr. Babble's pacifier falls out of his mouth and it lands on his eating tray.]

Dr. Babble: Huh?

Mr. Dr. Eggman: We have to find that hedgehog. If he's seen another Shard, then maybe he can lead us to it.

Rusty Rose: If my readings are correct, the last indication of his energy was in Deep's District.

Dr. Deep: Let's smoke them out. Send in the bots.

[Dr. Babble laughs]

[Scene Change: New Yoke City, Underground]

[Under the ground, Denizen 1998 passes a weapon to a Resistance member. Sonic appears with Renegade Knucks.]

Sonic: [To Renegade Knucks] I take it you radioed ahead and let Rebel know what's what.

Renegade Knucks: I did.

[Sonic gives a wink and thumbs-up to Renegade Knucks. He simply rolls his eyes in annoyance.]

Rebel Rouge: [With her back turned] Look who decided to drop in. Welcome back. Here to face the music?

Sonic: Depends what kind of music. Am I sensing a negative vibe?

Rebel Rouge: [Turns to Sonic] Using us to help you steal the Shard then deserting us as soon as you got what you came for? [Goes to his face] Yeah, I'd say the vibe is pretty negative. I should let the Chaos Council turn you into a handbag.

Sonic: [Quietly to Renegade Knucks] Uh, I thought you explained everything.

Renegade Knucks: I did. She didn't care.

[Sonic becomes worried.]

Squad Commander Red: The rodent is lying. Let's toast him.

Sonic: I didn't steal the Shard.

Renegade Knucks: But your fox friend did, right before he left us high and dry.

Sonic: [Miserably] He did?

Rebel Rouge: And to think we believed in you.

[A flashback of an earlier episode plays. Rebel Rouge, Renegade Knucks and Rusty Rose are sat down, cornered by shooting Eggforcers.]

Rebel Rouge: [Narrating] After sticking our necks out like we did.

[Mr. Dr. Eggman uses his mech to keep the door open, observing Sonic get sucked in by the Red Prism Shard. Sonic screams. Afterwards, Tails Nine shakes off his misery and retrieves the shard with an electric grabber, which coincidentally turns off the power. The power turns back on.]

Computer: Backup systems engaged.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: They have the energy crystal!

[Dr. Don't accesses the door's code.]

Dr. Don't: Got it.

[The door opens. He, Mr. Dr. Eggman and Dr. Deep - the latter two in their mechs, pass through, unknowingly passing by Tails Nine, crawling upside-down passing the doorway in the other direction, holding the shard. He crawls around the walls, noticed by the rebels. He stops and looks at them, until he hears a voice from afar.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [Off-screen.] Find them. They can't be far.

[Tails Nine continues crawling around the walls until he finds a safe place to jump off and land. He jumps over the doorway wedged open by an Eggforcer, to dramatic music and the rebels' horror. Renegade Knucks growls in anger with the screen closing in on him, and attacks and destroys the Eggforcers in fury. He carries an unconscious Rebel Rouge through Yoke HQ's exit and jumps down. Rusty Rose beeps and malfunctions.]

Rusty Rose: Initiating system override. Chaos Council programming restored.

[She moves back inside. While Denizen 1998 is fishing inside a skip, The rebels fall with a thud, causing him to notice. The Rebels look up at an angry Denizen 1998, then he offers them a lift. He carries the two Resistance members around his arms and runs. In the next scene, many members of the resistance equip themselves with weapons.]

Rebel Rouge: [Narrating] Word of our work spread throughout the city. Our army grew without you or that traitorous fox.

[The screen fades to black, ending the flashback.]

Rebel Rouge: And, tonight, we finally finish what we started.

Sonic: I skip town for a day and you cook up a revolution?

Rebel Rouge: [Annoyed and goes to Sonic's face.] A day? You've been gone weeks.

Sonic: Weeks? Really? [Thinks] Time must move differently there.

Renegade Knucks: All that matters right now is taking out the council while we still can.

Rebel Rouge: If they get that energy crystal back, we're done for.

Sonic: Nine won't let that happen.

Renegade Knucks: [Threatening Sonic] You tell us where he is and we'll make sure he doesn't.

Sonic: [Trying to stay innocent.] How would I know?

Renegade Knucks: I smell baloney. Let's put the screws to him.

[The resistance arrest Sonic.]

Squad Commander Red: [Turning the gun to face the Echidna...] Come on, boss. [before turning it to Sonic's face] Let me tear this scoundrel limb from limb.

Sonic: Screws and baloney would taste-- terrible. [--Pushes Squad Commander Red's gun down] There's better ways to get more iron in your diet.

Rebel Rouge: [Annoyed] Jokes? After all we've been through? Don't you understand what's at stake?

[A whirring is coming from a circular platform on the ground. The cylinder ascends. A Palmtree appears inside the cylinder.]

Rebel Rouge: [Miserably] It's a symbol of the life we deserve, growing and thriving in peace.

Renegade Knucks: [Miserably] If we lose this fight, there won't be anything left to fight for.

[Sonic touches the cylinder, and takes a closer look at the palm tree.]

Sonic: The palm.

[He flashes back to Amy showing him the palm tree.]

Amy: Ta-da!

[The next flashback shows him entering Boscage Maze, looking at the palm tree. The flashbacks end. He becomes guilty and miserable.]

Sonic: I'm sorry I wasn't there when you needed me, but I'm not a traitor and neither is Nine. Let me prove it to you. Let me fight by your side.

[A heavy thudding sound alerts and annoys everybody. The camera cuts to the ceiling, where the thudding is coming from.]

Rebel Rouge: It's the Chaos Council. [She flies to the computer.] They've located us.

[She presses a key and looks at a webcam. It shows Eggforcers walking along the road. One of them lands in the middle of the camera's view and chatters to their fellow robots. He shoots into the camera and disables it.]

Rebel Rouge: [Shouts] Secure the tree!

Squad Commander Red: [Annoyed] How did they find us? It can't be a coincidence.

Rebel Rouge: Everyone up top before our location is compromised.

[The cylinder descends and the resistance run away. Sonic stays there,watching the Palm Tree in misery come down. He cuts a determined look to the viewers, then runs off.]

[Scene Change: New Yoke City, Overground]

[Eggforcers march together looking around for suspects.]

Eggforcer: They are somewhere near. Continue the attack. We will force them out.

Squad Commander Red: [Hiding behind a rock] Not on my watch, automaton.

[She fires a laser. It cuts through and destroys a robot. The shooting commences. An Eggforcer shoots and breaks a rock. Cutting ahead of the surprised resistance, Sonic spin dashes towards his enemies and homing attacks three of them, before - in slow motion - spinning into Mr. Dr. Eggman's Mech, however, he parries the blue ball away, causing him to hurtle to the wall. He groans and slides to the ground. Dr. Babble arrives to battle in his mech, taking on Renegade Knucks - now without his weapon. In slow motion, they fist into each other, but it's Dr. Babble that is blown back. The baby giggles and angrily deploys a large red laser back at him, but Rebel Rouge carries her team-mate away from the attack just in time and glides him to safety, only to get punched by Dr. Babble's robot, knocking them both out. Denizen 1998 defeat more robots using the metal pipe and kicking attacks. His pipe clashes with the Mech of Dr. Deep's sword.]

Dr. Deep: Surrender the energy crystal and we'll promise to make your demise quick and-- painless.

[--He points his sword at the cat's face. Squad Commander Red and two other members are cornered by Eggforcers.]

Squad Commander Red: We need backup.

[Dr. Babble yells and lands in-front of a downed Renegade Knucks. He groans and stays down. Meanwhile, Mr. Dr. Eggman approaches Sonic. However, he looks up at the sky as Tails Nine swoops down through the portal gateway with his plane.]

Tails Nine: Sonic, hang on!

Renegade Knucks, Sonic and Rebel Rouge: Nine?

Sonic: You got a plane... kinda.

[Everyone watches as Tails Nine swoops into the area. All of the Chaos Council appear in five different screens.]

Chaos Council: Wait. Was that an energy portal?

Mr. Dr. Eggman: How did he do that?

Dr. Deep: It's the fox who stole the Shard. Get him!

[The Eggforcers shoot lasers at Tails Nine's plane. It corkscrews to dodge the lasers, while Sonic runs, carrying Squad Commander Red and three other resistance members to safety. The camera cuts to Tails Nine, shooting Dr. Babble's robot. It turns around and shoots Dr. Deep down. Sonic goes after the plane, but is confronted by shooting Eggforcers. He spin jumps and Homing Attacks some robots in a line leading up to the plane. Tails Nine smiles and then opens the doors for Sonic to hop in.]

Sonic: Nine! Holy, man. Just in time! [Shakes the back of his chair] We could really use some backup. [They suddenly exit the portal; annoyed.] Whoa. Whoa. Where are we going?

[Scene Change: The Void]

Sonic: We got a fight on our hands back there and... [Realizes it's not New Yoke City; starts looking around, confused] What did you just do?

Tails Nine: I opened a portal.

Sonic: Whoa. I think I cross through here every time I enter the other worlds.

Tails Nine: I call them Shatterspaces.

Sonic: Huh, I guess that makes sense. Really glad to see you but we have to go back. The rebels need my help.

Tails Nine: [Annoyed] Not until you tell me where you've been.

Sonic: Well...

[Sonic flashes back to scenes where he got pulled in by the pink Prism Shard, got frightened by Mangey Tails, and at the start of the episode where he falls with a vine.]

Sonic: Then you showed up in your spaceship and pulled me into this portal thingy.

[He takes a deep breath]

Tails Nine: That confirms what I've discovered. From the moment you vanished, I suspected there was more to the Shard than I'd realized.

[He presses a button. The pink shard raises into their view.]

Sonic: So you did take it.

Tails Nine: Yeah, that and I hacked into their power core schematics. Pretty elementary. So I adapted them and created the Shatter Drive. Now we can travel the Shatterverse at our discretion.

Sonic: Shatter what? This is cool and everything but we really gotta get back to New Yolk.

Tails Nine: I have to show you what I found.

[He pushes the lever, accelerating his plane. It enters the purple gateway.]

[Scene Change: The Grim]

[The plane appears through the portal and lands.]

Sonic: Another world?!

[The doors open.]

Tails Nine: Welcome to our bright new future. I call it The Grim. Yeah, that seems accurate. [Looks at his recalibrated shoes] What?

Tails Nine: Fascinating. Your shoes have recalibrated to The Grim.

Sonic: Yeah, I get a fancy upgrade every time I enter a new Shatterspace.

Tails Nine: Huh. Prism energy truly is magnificent. We're only just scratching the surface of its capabilities.

Sonic: Be on the lookout for whacked-out versions of you, me, or anyone else you might know.

Tails Nine: That's the best part of all. There's no one here. It's a clean slate. The perfect place to start over and get the world right. With the proper fortifications and enough Shard energy, it could be home. The one you lost. The one I never had. I can make that hope a reality, for both of us.

Sonic: Look, Nine, it's incredible but it's not going anywhere. And those rebels really need our help. Come with me. Help me finish the fight.

Tails Nine: [Annoyed] That city never brought me anything but misery. I owe it nothing. [Turns his back on Sonic.] I'll help you get back... [Jumps into the cockpit.] but I have work to do.

[He shoots some lasers which open up the portal. Sonic sighs in misery.]

Sonic: I hope I see you in New Yolk. [Walks backwards into the portal, while Tails, still annoyed, works on the plane.]

[Scene Change: The Void]

[Sonic screams and he flies through the Void.]

Shadow: [offscreen] Sonic.

Sonic: Huh?

Shadow: [offscreen, louder] Sonic!

[Scene Change: New Yoke City]

[The battling between the Resistance and the Chaos Council continue. Squad Commander Red retreats.]

Rebel Rouge: I'm out.

Renegade Knucks: Same. [Drops his weapon and picks up a metal pipe] Lousy Egg tech. You can't trust it.

[Suddenly, Mr. Dr. Eggman appears in his mech, slamming the ground with a puff of smoke. He, Dr. Babble and Dr. Deep confront the Resistance.]

Dr. Deep: Surrender the energy crystal.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Or tell us where the hedgehog went. We're not picky.

Rebel Rouge: We don't know where they are.

Renegade Knucks: And wouldn't tell you if we did.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [Puts his mech up Rebel Rouge's face, pointing at her.] Spill it, punks, or we'll spill something else.

Renegade Knucks: I got a better idea. How about you bums line up and kiss my bright red...

[A portal generates above them, causing them to look upwards.]

Dr. Deep: Another portal?

[Sonic arrives through the gateway and hits Mr. Dr. Eggman with a Homing Attack so big that it throws and knocks all the mechs out. He joins the Resistance, while Dr. Babble thrashes about in his mech. The Resistance are annoyed about Sonic's lateness.]

Sonic: Uh, I know, I know. No more vanishing into thin air. Let's just beat these guys to a pulp and if you still think I'm a traitor, then you can screw-- my baloney.

[The shooting starts, causing everyone to duck.]

Renegade Knucks: Better late than never.

Sonic: That's the spirit!

[The Resistance start attacking. Renegade Knucks and Rebel Rouge dodge laser fire and take out Eggforcers, followed by Sonic. Dr. Babble gets up and screams, combating the Resistance. He slaps Renegade Knucks and Sonic away. Sonic appears running along the wall]

Sonic: Hey! Play nice.

[He Homing Attacks Dr. Babble and knocks him down. He steps on the button.]

Sonic: Isn't it past your bedtime?

[He suddenly ducks to dodge a sword attack from Dr. Deep, then he spins back to dodge another attack. As soon as he lands, Rebel Rouge grabs him, evading him from a stomp by Mr. Dr. Eggman. Sonic Homing attacks Mr. Dr. Eggman, causing him to wobble. Renegade Knucks jumps down and throws a Ninja Rope, wrapping it around the mech's right leg. The Resistance are ready with the other Ninja Rope.]

Squad Commander Red: Get ready to give it everything you got.

[The Squad Commander member throws the Ninja Rope, wrapping it around the mech's other leg.]

Squad Commander Red: Pull!

[They both pull the ropes simultaneously. Mr. Dr. Eggman tries to keep his balance. Sonic lands back down, watching the trapped mech suit.]

Sonic: Oh, I love this game.

[He joins the Squad Commanders and grabs hold of the rope.]

Squad Commander Red: Let's see what you're made of, blue. Hit the jets.

[They pull together, Sonic peeling out while he pulls. The mech lands on its body, knocking it out. Above him, Rebel Rouge battles Dr. Deep. They glide into each other. He continues attacking her with his sword. Dr. Babble gibbers and gets up, attacking the Resistance with a stomp.]

Squad Commander Red: Comin' in hot. Take cover!

[Sonic and the Resistance dodge as Dr. Babble stomps. The Resistance run away.]

Sonic: [To the viewers] How is a baby so mean?

[Sonic gets clubbed in slow motion by Dr. Babble's baby rattle mace and thrown into the wall. He groans and falls to the ground, while Dr. Babble claps and sings. With more members of the Resistance running away, Renegade Knucks looks up, watching the ongoing battle between Rebel Rouge and Dr. Deep. He hits her with the sword. She screams as she is knocked down, to Renegade Knucks' horror.]

Renegade Knucks: Rebel!

[He runs to try and save Rebel Rouge, but Dr. Deep's sword drops into and sticks onto the road in front of him, causing him to stop. Dr. Deep swoops down and attacks Renegade Knucks, causing him to hit the wall.]

Dr. Deep: Ah-ah-ah.

[Rebel Rouge is also knocked down to the ground face down. Dr. Babble's mech steps on top of her and giggles. Sonic is also knocked out. Mr. Dr. Eggman picks him up.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [Chuckles] A noble effort.

[Dr. Babble grunts in annoyance.]

Dr. Deep: It wasn't noble. It was annoying.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [He opens the top of his mech and looks out.] Enough games. [To Sonic] Hand over the crystal, or we'll stick you in a hamster wheel and see how long you can keep the lights on before you drop.

[Dr. Babble gibbers angrily]

Dr. Deep: Pace yourself, Dr. Babble.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: And while we're at it, do tell about another world with another Shard. That's what you're calling the energy crystal, aren't you? We're all ears.

Sonic: Really? I mean, I'd say you're more jowls but I honestly have no idea what you're talking about.

Rusty Rose: [Off-screen] This should jog your memory.

Sonic: Rusty Amy? Yes! Butt kicking time.

Rusty Rose: Rusty Rose. I have returned to my original directive under the Chaos Council.

Sonic: [Disappointed] Aw... no butt kicking.

[Amy displays her recording on a screen in front of a building. It also records what Sonic said during his battle with the Eggforcers.]

Sonic: I had zero intention of leaving you and I got zipped into another world with another you fighting another battle. Where's Nine? I gotta pick his brain about this other Shard I found. [The recording pauses. Rebel Rouge embarassingly rolls her eyes and flops. Sonic turns to the Doctor.]

Sonic: Gulp.

[Mr. Dr. Eggman squeezes Sonic with his hand. Rebel Rouge groans. Dr. Deep pins Renegade Knucks with the sword.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: You will talk, cretin, or you will scream.

[Sonic sighs. Suddenly, the portal opens and Tails Nine swoops down with his plane, almost hitting Mr. Dr. Eggman's mech. He ducks.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Did he just do that portal thingy again?!

[Tails Nine swoops up, U-turns, and swoops down, shooting lasers which hit Mr. Dr. Eggman and knocks him out. Sonic breaks free of the mech's grasp with a spin jump. Cross-hairs lock on to Tails Nine's plane. A beeping sound is heard.]

Rusty Rose: My scan indicates he has the Shard. There is heavy prismatic energy on the craft.

[Dr. Babble, The prism shard, and Dr. Deep appear in three different screens.]

Dr. Deep: This confirms everything we've suspected.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: And more. The Shard was never just an energy source.

[The plane shoots again, hitting Dr. Babble's mech and freeing Rebel Rouge. It returns to shoot at Dr. Deep, freeing Renegade Knucks. Sonic peels out side-by-side with Tails Nine's plane.]

Sonic: [Happily] Nine, you came!

Tails Nine: [Annoyed] When this is over, I'm going home and never looking back. Whether I go it alone is entirely up to you.

Sonic: I knew you'd come back, buddy.

[He hops onto the side of Tails Nine's Plane. It U-turns laterally, turning Sonic upside-down. The Chaos Council - Dr. Don't playing a video game displayed below - appear in five different screens.]

Dr. Deep: He's using our Shard's energy to teleport somehow.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: He's not teleporting. That fox has figured out how to travel to other worlds. The plan has changed. We need to capture that craft. Deep, Babble, full volley at the rebel HQ. [Dr. Deep and Dr. Babble follow orders and leave] I'll lure the fox away. Don't, Done-It, prepare the mothership.

[Mr. Dr. Eggman moves back into his cockpit. The camera cuts to Dr. Don't and Dr. Done-It, the latter shaking his head looking at him.]

Dr. Don't: Yeah. Fine. Whatevs.

[While the plane flies high, Sonic watches the ongoing battle from a Bird's eye view.]

Sonic: I'll take 'em low. You take 'em high.

Tails Nine: Already on it.

[Sonic jumps off the plane and Homing Attacks three Eggforcers, followed by another three. He joins Rebel Rouge.]

Sonic: We're back on. Let's take these clowns down once and for all.

Rebel Rouge: Once again, better late than never.

Sonic: Hey, I never let you down, Rebel.

Rebel Rouge: [Pauses shooting] When you say "never," you do mean-- [pokes Sonic] "all the time?"

[They duck to dodge an attack]

Sonic: No time for small talk.

[Sonic Homing Attacks a small group of Eggforcers. The other group ascend, but are shot down by lasers from Tails Nine's plane. Mr. Dr. Eggman sees the plane swooping upwards, and goes up to chase it, firing red lasers at him.]

Tails Nine: What an amateur. Time to put some scuff marks on that fancy paint job.

[He rolls the plane 360 degrees and corkscrews down close to the road. Mr. Dr. Eggman's mech scrapes the road and causes sparks. Tails Nine swoops up close to the building. With nowhere else to go, he corkscrews the plane one way and then the other way, unable to shake off his tail. They shoot at each other. Tails Nine presses a button, while Mr. Dr. Eggman laughs.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: I've got this weasel on the run. Prepare for launch!

[Dr. Don't closes his game and taps on the controls on his controller. A beep sounds. The Mothership launches.]

Dr. Deep: Time to go home.

[Dr. Deep and Dr. Babble ascend and leave.]

Rusty Rose: Eggforcers, keep them distracted.

[Tails Nine's battle with Mr. Dr. Eggman is ongoing. Ominous music plays as Tails Nine suddenly notices the Mothership leaving the building. It turns upside-down and floats away, to his annoyance.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Fox shmox, what we've got here is a sitting duck.

[With Tails Nine distracted, he shoots at the plane, hitting and exploding one of the turbines. Tails Nine struggles to keep control of his plane.]

Tails Nine: No, no, no, no!

[The Mothership opens up a suction tube of a bright yellow light. The plane freezes and is sucked in. Tails Nine tries to shield himself from the light. He tries to get his plane working again.]

Tails Nine: Come on, come on, come on. One more portal and I'm home free.

[He presses a button. Unfortunately for him, the plane powers down, to his sadness.]

Tails Nine: Nooo...

[The three Chaos Council mechs surround him, making him afraid while Mr. Dr. Eggman cackles.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Rusty, the vermin is on the bus. I repeat, the vermin is on the bus.

Rusty Rose: Eggforcers, finish them off. We have what we need.

[She leaves and runs towards the Mothership, while the Eggforcers continue shooting. Sonic slides sideways to dodge and then prepares a spin dash from the side to knock the first robot out. Renegade Knucks pound the ground, lifting rocks up in the air. He punches one of the rocks into the second robot while Rebel Rouge jumps onto the third one and hits it on the head, knocking it down. They cheer.]

Sonic: Yes! We did it! You guys good?

Renegade Knucks: We're good. Not sure what happened to your friend though.

Rebel Rouge: I don't like this. The Shard could be anywhere.

Sonic: You're right. I better find him before he portals out of here again. Back in a flash!

[He runs in a circle around Rebel Rouge and Renegade Knucks, whom flinch. It is revealed that Squad Commander Red also flinched.]

Squad Commander Red: I still don't trust that guy.

[The three mechs, along with Tails Nine's plane, are sucked into the Mothership.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [To Tails Nine] With our Shard and your tech, you've just handed us the universe on a silver platter. [He laughs maniacally. The screen cuts to black with the episode's name. The credits appear.]
