Sir Lancelot[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series published by Archie Comics. He was a mobian hedgehog and the alternate counterpart of Shadow the Hedgehog. He served as a knight in the service of King Arthur alongside the Knights of the Round Table in a distant Zone connected to In Another Time, In Another Place's reality.

Knight Time[]
Observing King Arthur as Sonic the Hedgehog and Merlina escaped him, Lancelot and the Knights of the Round Table were ordered by Arthur to search for Merlina and Sonic and slay them. After he left, Sir Gawain doubted his orders, but Lancelot and Percival protested that they were nothing without loyalty to the king, and Lancelot left for his new mission.[2]

A strong believer in honor, Sir Lancelot is firmly devoted to his duty of serving King Arthur, showing no hesitation about carrying out his more amoral orders.[2]

- Though Lancelot's name was never stated in the comic, Ian Flynn has confirmed all the characters' names from the comic strip are considered to be the same as in Sonic and the Black Knight.[1]
