Silver Castle Zone

This chrome-plated castle is filled with Dr. Robotnik's most up-to-date mechanical monstrosities. Corkscrews, cannon-firing robots and steel spikes are just some of the dangers. Keep track of where transporters send you - things get confusing mighty quick!

Silver Castle Zone (シルバーキャッスル[2] Shirubā Kyassuru?, lit. "Silver Castle") is the fifth and final Zone of Sonic Blast, which is represented by the color silver and its environment.

Description[]

Silver Castle Zone is an artificial island base created by Dr. Robotnik which doubles as a flying fortress. Upon talking flight, the Silver Castle Zone resembles the Death Egg.[3]

Story[]

Having finally arrived at Silver Castle Zone, Sonic and Knuckles make their way through the menacing fortress in order to locate Robotnik and stop him. Afterwards, they come face-to-face with the mad doc in a final confrontation.

With Robotnik finally defeated for good, the duo celebrate their victory with all of the Chaos Emeralds, as the entire fortress sinks into the bottom of the ocean.

In gameplay, Silver Castle Zone features numerous transporters and an advanced spike wall.

First boss[]

At the end of Act 3, Dr. Robotnik will show up in a hovercraft armed with laser cannons. The player must redirect twelve laser shots from this boss back at it to win the fight.

Special boss[]

After beating the first boss of Silver Castle Zone with all five Chaos Emeralds in player's possession, Sonic/Knuckles will be challenged by the true final boss of Sonic Blast. This boss a robotic machine that can split itself into two moving parts with saws on them, with one acting as a platform and the other acting as the hit target, while shooting blue energy balls. Land twelve hits on this boss to defeat it.

  • Inthe final cutscene, Silver Castle is portrayed to be similar to the Death Egg.
