Information in this article is about real-life people, companies, and objects, which do not relate to the in-universe Sonic series.

Shota Nakama (仲間 将太 Nakama Shota?) is a Japanese music producer, composer, arranger, and guitarist from Naha, Okinawa. He currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is the representative of the music production and concert production company soundtrec. He is also the founder of Video Game Orchestra and Sonic Symphony.

In the Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary Symphony, Nakama was the musical director and provided orchestral arrangements for the songs, along with Aruto Matsumoto, Jan Sanejko, Falk Au Yeong and others. He later idealized Sonic Symphony as a continuation of that concert, which became a world tour.
