Shiny

Template:Item Shinies are collectibles found in Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric. They are shiny collectibles that are scattered throughout each level.

Overview

Shinies can appear as a range of shiny items such as eating utensils, old bottles and old door knobs. There are a total of 68 Shinies to be found in the game.

Shinies are the most difficult collectibles to be spotted in the game as they cannot be directly seen by the player. For find a Shiny, the player must locate a Shiny trail, which is presented as a trail of footprints on the ground, and follow it to the end. Turning on the AVA at this location will make the footprints glow golden and will reveal a X-Mark. The player must then perform a Stomp at the spot of the X-Mark to collect the Shiny.

The Shinies can be exchanged with Sticks for Crowns on Bygone Island which can then be used to purchase Team Upgrades.
