The Shield is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.
Description[]
The Shield is a blue energy shield that protects the user from damage.
History[]
During Sonic’s fight with Eggman in his Egg Crusher in the altered reality of the Genesis Wave, Sonic was placed in a shield by Eggman seemingly to restrict his movement, but instead it didn't, still allowing him to move freely and seemingly protected him throughout the fight, upon defeating Eggman, the shield disappeared.[1]
