Sherman Walrus is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was the husband of Georgette Walrus, father of Rotor and Skeeter Walrus, and a native of the Northern Tundra city of Iceborough.

Appearance[]

Sherman is a violet walrus with two large tusks. For attire, he wears a navy-blue hat and coat, along with a red scarf.

History[]

Past[]

Sherman relocated his family seeking a life beyond the Walrus Herd, and was one of the members of the Mobotropolis special forces along with Sir Charles Hedgehog, Jules Hedgehog, and Amadeus Prower during the Great War. Right after Jules was gravely injured by Overlanders while on reconnaissance with his brother Charles and his wife Bernadette Hedgehog, Sherman was the one who drove Jules back to Mobotropolis.[2][3]

When Dr. Ivo Robotnik conquered the city of Mobotropolis, Sherman was part of the initial resistance group which attempted to retake the city. Sadly, Sherman was among those killed in the battle, while the rest of the resistance either escaped or were roboticized.[3]

Legacy[]

Although Sherman lost his life after the takeover, his wife managed to escape while pregnant with their third son, and Rotor Walrus would carry on his father's legacy as a member of the Knothole Freedom Fighters.[3]
