Shadow B. Kick (シャドウバックキック, Shadō Bakku Kikku^?, lit. "Shadow Back Kick") is a move used primarily by Shadow the Hedgehog in Sonic Battle. In the game, it serves as Shadow's Third Attack.

Description

When performing Shadow B. Kick, the user attacks the opponent with a Reserve Spin Kick by first swiftly turning away from the opponent and bending down, before throwing a fast back kick into the opponent's torso/head, knocking the opponent slightly into the air.

In gameplay, the Shadow B. Kick knocks the opponents into the air, immobilizing them for a second.

Emerl can randomly obtain this skill after participating in a fight with Shadow, either with or against him.

Trivia

• In the English localization, the move's name was shortened due to the lack of space on the skill card's text box.
• If Shadow or Emerl lands the Shadow Back Kick on Rouge or anyone with Rouge Flight as their Jump Skill, the small launch provides the victim with enough time to fly out of range or counter with an aerial attack of their own. Only certain Heavy Attacks or Upper Attacks with enough vertical range can even reach the victim using Rouge Flight as a proper followup.
