Sega Smash Pack is a video game compilation of eight Sega titles originally released for the Sega Mega Drive. It was released under the Sega PC line for PC by Sega in the United States on 18 February 1999. It was later re-released for the PC by Expert Software in 1999. A sequel, Sega Smash Pack 2, was later released in 2001.
Most of the games in Sega Smash Pack are virtually identical to those that was originally released. The only exception is The Revenge of Shinobi, which is a Japanese prototype with its Japanese title The Super Shinobi. It includes cheats enabled by default, missing boss fights, fewer music tracks, etc. Also, Golden Axe features a different Sega logo sequence when starting up that has has not been seen in any other Golden Axe titles since.
Differences in the game aside, the game is given a selection menu for the different titles it contains.
