This is the transcript of the Sonic Prime episode, "Second Wind".

[Scene: No Place]

[In No Place, it is a dark and stormy night. Lightning flashes every few seconds. The Angel's Voyage crew reside on the ship that Rusty used to locate them. Batten Rouge pulls out a telescope and looks through it. What can be seen is Sonic running over to save Knuckles the Dread from falling, but he suddenly disappears in a blue flash, being sucked up by the blue Shard and sent to the Void. Knuckles the Dread quickly gets up, looking around in confusion, while the weather lets up.]

Batten Rouge: [Concerned] What just happened?

[Knuckles the Dread picks up the blue Shard, embracing it while holding it in his palm.]

Knuckles the Dread: I'll never let you go.

[Knuckles the Dread begins heading back over to his crew, jumping along a few cliffs and also gliding the way there. Rusty Rose, who is tied up, sees him holding the Shard.]

Rusty Rose: The Shard.

Batten Rouge: You alright, Cap'n?

Knuckles the Dread: Aye, Batten.

Sails Tails: What happened to Sonic, Cap'n?

Knuckles the Dread: He poofed! And in a blue flash, he was gone.

Black Rose: The Devil's Lighthouse!

Knuckles the Dread: Aye! And with this, we will reclaim the No Place seas. [Clenches his fist]

Batten Rouge & Black Rose: [Cheering] Huzzah!

Rusty Rose: This craft is the property of the Chaos Council.

Black Rose: Shut your metal gob!

Rusty Rose: I will not! I was programmed by the Chaos Council with the mission to retrieve that Shard.

Black Rose: And ya failed!

Rusty Rose: The council will return. You would do best to surrender to me now.

[All of the pirates laugh.]

Knuckles the Dread: If this "Chaos Council" wants to take this ship back, they're more than welcome to try.

[Knuckles the Dread runs over to the top end of the ship and jumps onto it. He looks at Rusty Rose.]

Knuckles the Dread: You're a heck of a scrapper, Rusty. Ye'll make a fine pirate.

Rusty Rose: I am loyal to the Chaos Council.

Knuckles the Dread: [Sarcastically] Then prisoner it is.

[Knuckles the Dread turns back to his crew.]

Knuckles the Dread: Alright, crew! Let's get this metal boat ship-shape and ready to sail!

[The crew cheers.]

Batten Rouge: [Flies down] What about the Angel's Voyage, Cap'n?

Knuckles the Dread: A good captain goes down with their ship, but a great captain steals someone else's. Ha! What be her name?

Rusty Rose: The Kraken.

Knuckles the Dread: Aye, a fitting name.

[The Kraken begins to set sail.]

Knuckles the Dread: [Singing] Oh! Who'd the scourge of the great No Place sea?

Angel's Voyage crew: [Singing] Dread! It be Dread!

[The opening theme plays]

[Scene: No Place]

[The camera switches into the middle of nowhere in No Place. Seagulls can be heard squawking and what lies within the middle of the sea is an island. Suddenly, a portal opens in the sky and Sonic comes falling out of it, screaming.]

Sonic: Not again!

[Sonic splashes into the water. He gets up, gasping for air and coughing, then brushes his fur off.]

Sonic: Oh, I really thought I had it this time. Okay, how do I find a band of pirates in the middle of a massive ocean world? [Sonic looks around a little bit] Hmm, I need to get some higher ground.

[He climbs up a palm tree. He hangs onto the side of it and looks out into the distance, until he notices the mountain where the Devil's Lighthouse was located.]

Sonic: The Devil's Lighthouse!

[He begins performing the Super Peel Out and runs across the water, heading towards the Devil's Lighthouse mountain. Suddenly, another portal opens, and coming out of it is the Chaos Council's Spaceship, ready to look for the Shard. A big tube-like spaceship begins taking off from the Chaos Council's.]

[Scene: Spaceship]

[Mr. Dr. Eggman, Dr. Babble, and Dr. Don't are on a video call with Dr. Deep and Dr. Done-It.]

Dr. Deep: The Yolkomotive is primed and loaded.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Egg-cellent! We're on a tight schedule here, doctors, so no messing around.

Dr. Done-It: Don't tell me what to do! We'll get the power Shard. Don't you worry about it.

Dr. Deep: And in record time, I'd wager.

[The Chaos Council's Spaceship gathers one of the Shard's energy to open another portal. They head straight through it. Dr. Deep and Dr. Done-It's ship flies past the camera.]

Dr. Deep: If we want to find the Shard, [A DNA signature of Rusty Rose appears on the computer screen. Her head begins flashing on the DNA.] we need to find Rusty Rose.

[Scene: The Kraken]

[Rusty Rose appears to be pairing with the Yolkomotive so the Council can access her location. She soon finishes pairing and looks down at Knuckles the Dread.]

Knuckles the Dread: Black Rose! Set a course for me long awaiting destiny.

Black Rose: Aye-aye, Cap'n!

Sails Tails: [Flies up to the top of the ship] All finished with the banners, Dread.

Knuckles the Dread: Fine job, lad!

Sails Tails: [Flies down to one of the cannons] And the cannon's been locked and loaded!

Knuckles the Dread: Good! Let's go get our pirate on. [Knuckles the Dread looks up and sees Dr. Deep and Dr. Done-It's Spaceship. He pulls out his telescope and looks through it at the Spaceship.] Huh?

Dr. Deep: Filthy pirates! Surrender the Shard and we will leave you with your stolen ship and your pathetic lives.

Rusty Rose: The Chaos Council has come for me and the Shard, just as I said they would.

Black Rose: They can have ya back!

[Scene: Spaceship]

[Inside Dr. Deep and Dr. Done-It's Spaceship, they have a video monitor up and Knuckles the Dread appears on it. He threatens them to come down and take the Shard for themselves.]

Knuckles the Dread: If he wants me beauty, he can come down here and take it from me!

Dr. Deep: [Eagerly] Bring it!

[Dr. Deep presses a button and Eggforcers begin flying towards The Kraken. They begin firing lasers at the crew, but they become determined and fight the Eggforcers. Batten Rouge and Sails Tails dodge a few attacks from them, while Knuckles the Dread kicks them down. Catfish picks up Sails Tails and throws him towards an Eggforcer. He does a battle cry and hits an Eggforcer with a laser device.]

Knuckles the Dread: You can't have it! It's mine! Mine!!!

[All of a sudden, most of the Shard's energy begins getting transferred to Knuckles the Dread's sword, giving him more power to fight the Eggforcers away. He does a battle cry and fires the Shard energy coming from his sword at the Eggforcers. Suddenly, he gets blasted with a laser and lands into a wall. After he falls, he loses grasp of the Shard and it begins rolling away. An Eggforcer picks it up and flies away. Knuckles the Dread runs up and begins threatening the doctors again.]

[Scene: Spaceship]

Knuckles the Dread: No! When I get me hands on ye lousy landlubbing lunatics, I'll take me sword and--

[Dr. Deep presses a button. The video monitor mutes, while Knuckles the Dread still yells at them, despite the monitor being muted.]

Dr. Deep: That filthy sea dog put up a fight. Eggforcers! Give them a final volley to remember us by.

[Scene: The Kraken]

[Just when the Eggforcers were flying back up towards the ship, they turn around again and begin firing lasers at The Kraken's crew. Suddenly, a metal part near Rusty Rose explodes and begins smoking.]

Eggforcer: All systems are fully disabled, Captain.

[Scene: Spaceship]

Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It: Egg-cellent.

[The monitor slightly zooms in on Rusty Rose.]

Dr. Done-It: What about Rusty Rose?

Dr. Deep: Leave her. She's failed us one too many times.

[Scene: The Kraken]

[The aircraft begins to fly away.]

Rusty Rose: They are... [Short circuit] ...leaving me?

[Scene: The Void]

[Inside the Chaos Council's spaceship, they receive a call. Mr. Dr. Eggman answers it. The monitor goes slightly static, but eventually turns on properly. Dr. Deep and Dr. Done-It are seen on the monitor.]

Dr. Deep: Fellow doctors. [Grabs the Shard from an Eggforcer holding it] We have the No Place Shard in our possession. Securing in record time, I might add. [He gives the Shard back to the Eggforcer]

Dr. Don't: Ugh! Those two mouth breathers are always rubbing it in.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: We're picking up a converter from New Yoke and then we're on route. Send us your coordinates and be ready.

Dr. Done-It: Affirmative! Our egg-xact coordinates are--

[The monitor goes fuzzy, then suddenly cuts off.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Transmission faulty. Repeat coordinates.

Dr. Don't: Looks like they have a problem with their tech. What a shocker.

[Tails Nine, who can be seen in the background, begins typing on a computer.]

Tails Nine: This is too easy.

[Scene: No Place]

[Back in No Place, Sonic is still running across the water, heading towards the Devil's Lighthouse mountain. He begins getting closer and closer. After he makes it, he spin-dashes up the mountain, then looks into the distance again. He can see Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft flying away, but also spots The Kraken as well.]

Sonic: Smoke! And another Egg ship. That's gotta be Dread.

[Tails Nine calls Sonic on his Regulator. He answers the call.]

Tails Nine: Sonic! The Chaos Council have the Shard!

Sonic: Nine?

[The camera switches to Sonic's POV.]

Tails Nine: I bought you some time. You gotta hurry if you're gotta get it back before the Mothership.

Sonic: Thanks, pal. And don't worry, [Flicks his nose] hurrying is what I do best.

[Tails Nine hangs up. Sonic jumps and begins running once more towards The Kraken so he can talk to Knuckles the Dread as his crew.]

Sonic: Wonder what happened to those pirates? Okay, if I'm gonna catch that ship, I'm gonna need to get airborne.

[Sonic manages to make it to The Kraken. He begins jumping up the sides of the ship and makes it to the top. He lands behind Knuckles the Dread.]

Batten Rouge: [Off-screen] We can't, Cap'n!

Sonic: Yo-ho, pirates!

[Knuckles the Dread hears Sonic behind him. He gets startled and throws his sword towards him. Sonic luckily manages to dodge.]

The Kraken's crew: Sonic?

Knuckles the Dread: You're back.

Sonic: That's right!

Knuckles the Dread: [Takes his sword back] Those scurvy eggheads stole me beauty.

Sonic: I heard. Your... beauty, huh? Hmm, well, whatever you're calling it, we have to get it back and I need your help.

[Knuckles the Dread smirks.]

Sonic: Come on! We have to get this ship moving and go after them.

Sails Tails: The ship is damaged and we're not going anywhere.

Rusty Rose: I can fix The Kraken.

[Everyone looks at Rusty Rose.]

Sonic: Yeah, Rusty can fix it! [Sees that she is tied up] Wait, is she your prisoner? What about the council?

Batten Rouge: Aye, she's loyal to her beloved council.

Rusty Rose: That was before they deserted me. [Rusty has another short circuit. Suddenly, her robotic eye glows pink.] I will join your crew. We will make them regret tossing me aside like scrap metal.

Sonic: [Zips over to Knuckles the Dread's side. Sonic gives him a thumbs-up.] Seems legit!

Knuckles the Dread: Do ye agree to follow me orders?

Rusty Rose: Aye.

Knuckles the Dread: And do you swear to wreak vengeance on those who stole me beauty? [Clenches his fist]

Rusty Rose: I... just said that.

Knuckles the Dread: Rose, cut her loose!

[Black Rose goes over to cut Rusty loose.]

Sonic: Yes! [Does a wink and thumbs-up towards Knuckles the Dread] This team's really starting to come together!

[Sonic zips over to the top of the ship.]

Knuckles the Dread: Hmm, his speed will be useful in getting me beauty back. [Laughs maliciously]

[Rusty Rose walks over to the programmer and begins typing on the screen.]

Sonic: Good to be back on the same side again, huh? [Puts his hands behind his back]

Rusty Rose: It is a means to an end.

Sonic Ouch! That hurts. She'll come around.

[Black Rose gives an unamused look towards Sonic. He zips over to Rusty Rose's side and leans on the side of the programmer while watching her fix The Kraken.]

Sonic: You think you can fix it?

Rusty Rose: Definitely.

[Sonic's face lightens up.]

Black Rose: I don't know. I couldn't get it working.

Rusty Rose: Rerouting stored energy from solar collectors to ignition systems. Overwriting safety protocols. Rebooting main drive and engine sub-systems.

[The Kraken begins to function again. Lights begin to come on. The Kraken's crew are delighted that the ship is finally working again.]

The Kraken's crew: [Delighted] Huzzah!

Black Rose: Pfft! Lucky guess. [Crosses her arms together]

Sonic: [Slightly chuckles] You two are actually a lot alike, you know that?

Rusty Rose & Black Rose: [Both in unison] We are nothing alike!

Batten Rouge: [Flying] Yeah, nothing same-y about that. [Rusty & Black Rose both turn to Batten Rouge.]

[The ship begins setting sail.]

[Scene: Spaceship]

[Inside Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft, they are both angrily fighting because of the monitor disconnecting from the video call they were having with the other three doctors.]

Dr. Done-It: Did you try--

Dr. Deep: Of course I tried that!

Dr. Done-It: How about overriding the--

Dr. Deep: Don't you think that was the first thing I did?

[They both look at the monitor again.]

Dr. Done-It: This is frustrating! I can't find a single thing wrong with it.

[Suddenly, the aircraft begins shaking. The monitor shows the aircraft on-screen, showing that one of the engines has been destroyed.]

Dr. Deep: We've been hit! What's going on?!

[Outside of the aircraft, The Kraken can be seen shooting at Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft.]

Dr. Done-It: The Kraken?! It can't be! We left it dead in the water!

Dr. Deep: Apparently, not dead enough.

[The monitor zooms in on Rusty Rose. She looks up and fires a laser at the monitor, destroying it.]

Dr. Deep: Rusty Rose... I told you we should've taken her with us!

Dr. Done-It: No, you did not! [Dr. Done-It hits Dr. Deep with his walking stick.]

Dr. Deep: Well, I thought it! We made a mistake in not sinking them earlier, one we'll rectify at once. Eggforcers, destroy The Kraken!

[Dr. Deep unleashes a lot of Eggforcers from the aircraft. They begin flying down towards The Kraken and attacking the crew. The ship narrowly misses and continues forward. However, the Eggforcers are still determined and follow behind the ship, firing lasers at it.]

[Scene: Spaceship]

Dr. Deep: We can't get any altitude with this damaged engine!

Dr. Done-It: Then turn off the autopilot and let me show these rodents what's what.

Dr. Deep: Oh... Okay, Gramps! [Goes up to one of the other controllers of the aircraft] Buckle up. I'll show you how a real pilot can fly.

Dr. Done-It: Well, I'm launching another squad of Eggforcers, then.

Dr. Deep: Fine! See if I care.

[More Eggforcers begin unloading from the aircraft.

[Scene: The Kraken]

[Inside the Kraken, Knuckles the Dread can be seen taking the wheel.]

Knuckles the Dread: Hang on to your boots! Time to get what we came for.

[The camera switches to the outside of the ship. Rusty & Black Rose can be seen blasting lasers at Eggforcers, taking them down one-by-one.]

Black Rose: Got 'em!

[Rusty Rose fires at another Eggforcer and takes it down.]

Rusty Rose: I have eliminated two.

[They both begin firing again, slowly counting how many they have each taken down.]

Black Rose: I'm up to four!

Rusty Rose: Make that ten!

Black Rose: Twelve! [Winks]

Rusty Rose: Thirteen!

Rusty Rose: Fourteen!

Rusty Rose & Black Rose: Fifteen!

[Suddenly, Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft is fired at. The aircraft shakes.]

Dr. Deep: We're getting killed out here. Where's the Mothership?

[Dr. Done-It pushes Dr. Deep to the side, knocking him down.]

Dr. Done-It: Enough! Lemme show you how it's done, sonny. [Takes the wheel]

Dr. Deep: Here is the thing, old man, I'm the driver. [Slightly pushes Dr. Done-It] You go down to the engine room and fix the communication motherboard.

[They both grunt as they're fighting over who should control the aircraft, but Dr. Done-It manages to push Dr. Deep away once more.]

Dr. Done-It: You can't drive worth a darn! You go down to the engine room and fix the communication motherboard. [Lifts up his walking stick and pushes it into Dr. Deep's face]

Dr. Deep: Ugh, fine! I'll do it. Just get us in position for pickup.

Dr. Done-It: Alright, now, first, we gotta shake these slouchers loose.

[Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft begins to go underwater. The Kraken's crew continue to fire at it until it goes underwater.]

Knuckles the Dread: Hang on te yer p'tatoes, we be goin' in!

[The ship begins to get lower and lower.]

Black Rose: Are we going under the water?

Sonic: But we're still outside!

[Suddenly, time slows down. Sonic begins to pick up everybody one-by-one and take them into the inside of the ship. Eventually, when it's time for him to take Rusty inside, time speeds up. However, she hangs on to the cannon and refuses to let go.]

Rusty Rose: [Turns her head towards Sonic] Leave me here! I have a score to settle.

[Sonic lets go of Rusty Rose and quickly runs inside the ship. As soon as he gets inside, he stops, gasping for air as he's exhausted from all the running.]

[Scene: Water]

[Inside the water, The Kraken goes further and further down.]

[Scene: The Kraken, inside]

Knuckles the Dread: Where'd they go, where'd they go?

[Inside the ship, Sonic can be seen exercising his muscles when no one is looking. Afterwards, he looks ahead and becomes shocked. He runs up to the front window of the ship, looking outside, but notices it's a bit too dark to see anything properly.]

Sonic: Somebody hit the lights!

[Sails Tails turns on the lights. Sonic becomes quite shocked of what he has discovered. Rusty Rose can be seen controlling the cannon, but looks ahead and even becomes shocked herself. The rest of the crew eventually become shocked.]

Knuckles the Dread: What is that?

[A loop from Green Hill can be seen outside the ship. Sonic looks at it shockingly, also remembering about his original home as well just before the Paradox Prism shattered.]

Sonic: [Shocked] Green Hill...

[The ships goes straight through the loop. Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft can be seen in the father end of the ocean.]

Dr. Done-It: [Laughs] The suckers fell for it! Time to hit the rendezvous point and get the heck out of here.

[Dr. Deep is busy reading a book about how to control an aircraft.]

Dr. Deep: Alright, let's see... When it doubt, turn it off and turn it back on again. [Scoffs] How profound. Here we go. [He presses a button on the monitor. The aircraft powers off.]

Dr. Done-It: [Desperately trying to control the aircraft] What?! Where'd the power go?!

[Dr. Deep presses the button again. The aircraft powers back up again.]

Dr. Done-It: [Yelling] There's the power!

[Dr. Done-It begins causing the aircraft to be really fast. It begins to bump into some cliffs and rocks.]

Dr. Deep: Whoooaaa! What the heck is going on up there?!

[Rusty Rose realizes Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft is right behind The Kraken.]

Rusty Rose: The Chaos Council's craft is behind us.

Knuckles the Dread: Me beauty calls ta me.

[Knuckles the Dread begins controlling the ship and turns it back around, heading straight for the aircraft.]

Dr. Deep: Underwater? Why are we underwater?

[Dr. Deep pushes Dr. Done-It to the side, making him dizzy. Deep takes the wheel.]

Dr. Done-It: [Angrily yelling at Dr. Deep] Well, I had to shake them loose somehow!

Dr. Deep: [Pushes Dr. Done-It to the side again] What is that?

[The Kraken begins heading straight for Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft.]

Rusty Rose: Eat plasma, deserters! [Begins firing at the aircraft]

[Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It both scream in fear and duck down to avoid being hit by Rusty Rose. Dr. Deep quickly drives the aircraft away, while The Kraken goes in the opposite direction, but turns around again and heads straight after the aircraft.]

Dr. Deep: Mothership. Come in, Mothership! Pickup at the rendezvous point!

[Rusty Rose continues to fire at the aircraft. Dr. Deep tries his best to dodge as much as he can.]

Knuckles the Dread: You'll soon be in me grasp again, me beauty. [Shakes off his fascination of getting the Shard back] Launch the torpedoes! [Knuckles the Dread pushes two buttons and fires missiles at the aircraft.]

Dr. Done-It: Pull up!

[Dr. Done-It quickly drives the aircraft away from the missiles, luckily missing them. Sonic sees that The Kraken is heading for another Green Hill loop. He covers his eyes in hopes that the loop won't be destroyed by any chance. Luckily, the missiles miss and just head straight through the loop. Sonic sighs in relief.]

Knuckles the Dread: You won't be getting away that easy, scoundrels. [Laughs]

[Sonic gasps and notices that The Kraken is heading straight to the loop. Half of the loop gets destroyed, and Sonic becomes devastated.]

Sonic: [Yelling] DREAD!!!

[Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft heads out of the water]

Dr. Done-It: To the rendezvous point!

[Suddenly, The Kraken comes out of the water as well, flying and heading straight for the aircraft. Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It yelp.]

Knuckles the Dread: [The camera zooms in on him] Yes!

[Rusty Rose begins firing at the aircraft again. Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It yelp again. Dr. Deep quickly pulls the aircraft upwards, then Dr. Done-It fires a few lasers towards The Kraken. The ship dodges every laser, and Rusty continues to fire at the aircraft. Knuckles the Dread pushes the ship further, along with Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft doing the same.]

Sonic: You're gonna turn, right, Dread? [Notices that Knuckles the Dread ignored him] Right...?

[Rusty Rose fires yet again another laser at the aircraft, and it actually hits one of the engines. The aircraft begins to fall.]

Dr. Deep: Oh, no!

[Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft crashes into The Kraken. Everybody inside the ship begin to tumble. Sonic luckily manages to hang on to a side, screaming at the same time. Luckily, the ship manages to take a safe landing. Sonic runs out of the ship, then notices Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft. He has a look of anger on his face. Dr. Deep & Done-It come out of their aircraft, coughing and gasping for air.]

Dr. Done-It: Crazy pirate nearly killed us!

[Suddenly, Sonic jumps off The Kraken and begins running towards Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft. They are confused on what is heading towards them.]

Dr. Done-It: Huh? What's that? [Dr. Done-It puts on his zoom-in goggles, then realizes that it is Sonic.] Arrrh! It's Sonic!

Dr. Deep: [Panicking] The Shard! Secure the Shard!

[Sonic comes up the side of the aircraft and spin-dashes onto all three of the Eggforcers standing outside. He heads inside the aircraft.]

Sonic: Hey! [He grabs the Shard off an Eggforcer] Got it! [The Eggforcer begins looking around in concern of where the Shard went. Sonic comes out of the aircraft, only to be met by an Eggforcer on the way out. However, he spin-dashes it down, then jumps onto its head and begins spinning the Shard on his finger. He laughs.]

Dr. Deep: Stop him!

[Sonic jumps off the Eggforcer and does a chilling pose in the air, while also looking down at Dr. Deep as well and winks at him.]

Sonic: Whoo!

[Dr. Done-It begins firing lasers at Sonic.]

Dr. Done-It: Run, rabbit, run!

[Sonic dodges all of the lasers. He begins heading back towards The Kraken, but turns around again.]

Sonic: A little help here!

[Rusty Rose realizes what's going on and begins firing at the aircraft. Dr. Done-It gets hit and is knocked down.]

Sonic: [Laughs] Nice shot, Rusty! [Sonic ducks to avoid more lasers being fired at him. Eggforcers begin racing after him.]

Rusty Rose: My pleasure. [She begins to shoot at the Eggforcers]

Dr. Done-It: Oh, my back! Argh! [Back cracks, grumbles in pain] More Eggforcers!

[Sonic begins running around in circles, avoiding all of the lasers that the Eggforcers are firing at him. Most of the Eggforcers begin heading towards The Kraken. Rusty Rose takes down most of them, but is suddenly thrown backwards. Over six Eggforcers land onto the ship. The rest of the crew come out of the ship.]

Knuckles the Dread: It's up to us now, me crew! Pirate like you've never pirated before!

[They begin charging ahead at the Eggforcers. Batten Rouge takes down one using her sword, then Knuckles takes down one by punching it. Rusty Rose kicks one down. Black Rose attacks one with her sword, while Catfish belly flops onto one. Sonic continues to run from the Eggforcers, smiling at them as he is running away, but is suddenly kicked in the face by Dr. Deep and gets knocked into the water, dropping the Shard at the same time. He gets back up, letting his shoes serve as hover crafts. He begins looking for the Shard, but then notices Dr. Deep has taken it.]

Sonic: Uh... oh.

Dr. Deep: Thanks, rodent. Gotta fly! [He begins to fly off]

Rusty Rose: Not a chance!

[Dr. Deep laughs as he is flying away, but is hit by a laser that Rusty Rose fired towards him. He drops the Shard and Batten Rouge grabs onto it. She chucks it over to Knuckles the Dread. He becomes fascinated by it.]

Knuckles the Dread: Me beauty...!

Dr. Deep: [Lands in front of Knuckles the Dread] Not for long!

[Knuckles the Dread & Dr. Deep begin fighting for the Shard. Sonic stops to notice The Kraken's crew fighting with Dr. Deep and the Eggforcers, then he notices that more Eggforcers are heading towards the ship. Sonic begins to spin-dash most of the Eggforcers down.]

Sonic: He scores a ten from the judges!

[Sonic begins cheering for himself as Eggforcers fall into the water around him. Knuckles the Dread & Dr. Deep are later on seen still fighting for the Shard. When Knuckles the Dread is eventually distracted, Dr. Deep kicks him. Knuckles the Dread loses grasp of the Shard and it goes flying. Everything goes slow motion.]

Knuckles the Dread: [In slow motion] No!

[Time goes back to its normal speed. Dr. Deep catches onto the Shard and begins laughing.]

Dr. Deep: So long, Captain Loser!

Knuckles the Dread: Come back here, you yellow-bellied barnacle!

[Sonic begins heading back to The Kraken, but notices that Dr. Deep is getting away with the Shard in his hands.]

Dr. Done-It: Get that Shard back here, you flying beatnik!

[Sonic stares in determination of wanting to get the Shard back. His ear slightly twitches, then he turns around and notices Knuckles the Dread is calling out to him.]

Knuckles the Dread: Sonic! I got it covered here. Go after the Shard!

[Sonic nods, and begins to go after the Shard. However, he doesn't know about Knuckles the Dread's upcoming plan.]

Knuckles the Dread: That's right, fetch me precious when I turn me crew on ya to steal it back!

[An Eggforcer comes out to Knuckles the Dread unexpectedly. He begins fighting the Eggforcer. More Eggforcers head towards the Kraken, and Dr. Deep finally makes it back to the aircraft. Batten Rouge kicks away the Eggforcer that was attacking Knuckles the Dread, then notices Sonic heading towards the aircraft.]

Batten Rouge: [Yelling] Sonic!

Knuckles the Dread: He's turned on us, Batten! We're on our own!

[Catfish and Sails Tails get cornered by Eggforcers. More Eggforcers approach the ship, and begin firing lasers. Knuckles the Dread and Batten Rouge both run away.]

Dr. Deep: And so, we bid farewell to this soggy hellscape, never to return.

[Suddenly, Sonic approaches the ship and begins spin-dashing towards Dr. Deep. He throws the Shard over to Dr. Done-it. Dr. Deep uses the buzz-saws on his mech suit to protect himself.]

Dr. Done-It: Hee-hee, [Points his walking cane up] burn that blue hamster!

[Sonic begins to stress. Back at The Kraken, Sails Tails is once again being thrown by Catfish towards an Eggforcer. He takes it down with a laser device, but is bumped into by another Eggforcer passing by. Catfish catches him. Rusty Rose & Black Rose can be seen continuing to take down the Eggforcers, counting how many they have taken down along the way.]

Black Rose: Nineteen, twenty! [Goes flying backwards]

Rusty Rose: Twenty-one, twenty-two! [Goes flying backwards. Rusty grabs the cannon and begins to fire again.] Twenty-three, twenty-four...

Black Rose: ...Twenty-five, twenty-six, TWENTY-SEVEN!!!

Knuckles the Dread: [Taking down Eggforcers] Get back, ye rust buckets. I'll break your sea legs!

Batten Rouge: [Kicks away an Eggforcer] He's abandoned us, Cap'n?

Knuckles the Dread: Sorry, Batten. We never should have trusted that blue land-lover. Me Roses!

Rusty Rose & Black Rose: Aye, Cap'n?

Knuckles the Dread: Sonic has abandoned us. This be our final stand!

Rusty Rose & Black Rose: [Both gasp, in unison] Aye, Cap'n!

Black Rose: Thirty-six.

Rusty Rose: Thirty-seven.

Black Rose: Thirty-eight.

Rusty Rose: Thirty-nine...

Black Rose: ...Forty!

[Knuckles the Dread dodges a laser behind fired at him by an Eggforcer. He looks to the aircraft and notices Sonic attacking Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It. Back at the aircraft, Sonic manages to break loose from Dr. Deep's grasp. He spin-dashes off a wall and towards Dr. Deep, but he blocks the attack using his buzz-saws. Sonic charges forward again, but Dr. Deep constantly dodges.]

Black Rose: Fifty-four!

Rusty Rose: Fifty-five.

Black Rose: Fifty-six!

Rusty Rose: Fifty-seven.

Black Rose: Fifty-eight!

Rusty Rose: Fifty-nine.

Rusty Rose & Black Rose: Sixty!

Black Rose: [Raises her hand] High five!

Rusty Rose: High... five? [Slowly raises her hand as well]

[Black Rose high fives Rusty's hand. They both smile at each other. Back at Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft, Sonic is still fighting Dr. Deep, spin-dashing and dodging his buzz-saws at the same time. After countless attempts, Sonic finally manages to knock Dr. Deep down to the ground. He faces Dr. Done-It, also doing his stance pose from Sonic Battle at the same time. Dr. Done-It begins to fire up the tennis balls on the end of his walking cane with lasers, and fires them at Sonic. However, he always misses, and Sonic tries to spin-dash towards him, but is flicked away by his walking cane. He laughs, but is unexpectedly hit by Dr. Deep from behind. He lands into a wall really hard, slowly slipping to the ground. He opens his eye slightly to see what's going on and then notices Dr. Deep walking towards him once more. He does a pose towards Dr. Done-It, and when he fires the lasers towards Sonic, he dodges. Dr. Deep screams with the laser being fired at him and is knocked down.]

Dr. Done-It: [Confused] Huh?

Sonic: [Takes the Shard from Dr. Done-It] Yoink!

[Sonic kicks Dr. Done-It's walking stick out of his hand. It lands onto his head. Sonic stands on the side of the aircraft, holding the Shard in his arm.]

Dr. Done-It: Eat plasma, hedgehog!

Sonic: Aww! [Winks and points at Dr. Done-It] You got it right for once!

[Just when Dr. Done-It thought he was finally going to hit Sonic with a laser, Sonic dodges once more and the laser instead hits another one of the engines for the aircraft.]

Dr. Done-It: [Gasps] Oopsie pickle!

[Sonic begins heading back towards The Kraken.]

Sonic: And that's the way it's done.

[The rest of The Kraken's crew look at Sonic with angry looks on their faces. He becomes confused.]

Knuckles the Dread: [Points his sword towards Sonic] He hung us out to dry. He's a traitor, me crew. Can't be trusted, just like them! [Points at Dr. Deep & Dr. Done-It's aircraft]

Sonic: [Slowly pushes Knuckles the Dread's away using his finger] But, Dread, we had a plan.

Knuckles the Dread: Hand it over.

[Sonic looks down at Dread's sword.]

Sails Tails: You abandoned us, Sonic!

Batten Rouge: Ye left us at the mercy o' them robuts.

Black Rose: I'll blast 'im right b'tween the eyes.

Rusty Rose: Just do not hit the Shard.

Sonic: [Confused] I... wha... ho-- how could-- it...

Knuckles the Dread: Last chance, Blue. The Shard or yer life!

[Knuckles the Dread moves his sword further towards Sonic. He begins shaking in fear. The screen cuts to black and the episode ends. The credits appear.]
