The Seattle Police Department is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. It is the principle law enforcement agency of Seattle, Washington.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2[]
During one particular night in Seattle, officers from the Seattle Police Department would chase some bank robbers' truck through the streets of the city in their police cruisers. However, some of their cars got slowed down by bombs that the bank robbers threw at them. Their car chase got further complicated when Sonic the Hedgehog showed up and interfered with the bank robbers by driving their truck around recklessly. Although the Seattle Police Department eventually lost track of the truck, they soon found it again in front of an ice cream stand, only that it had been pulled apart. With the bank robbers and their hostage lying around the wreckage, the Seattle Police Department proceeded to arrest the former.
