The Sealing Device[1], also known as the Power Sealing Device,[2] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a capsule-like structure that can only be opened with a Doom Gear, and upon doing so, it bestows Shadow with a new Doom Power.
During Shadow's journey with Bug-Eye aboard the Space Colony ARK, Shadow asks Bug-Eye where he can find the first wishing orb. Bug-Eye rushes over to a Sealing Device, where the first orb is located. As the hedgehog approaches the device, he refers to it as "ominous". Bug-Eye squints his eye as Shadow proceeds to punch the center of the device, causing the device to unleash at Shadow. However, unbeknownst to Shadow, the hedgehog begins to get tremendous headaches as a result. This leads to Bug-Eye reminding Shadow that the orbs can give immense power and the ability to make wishes come true. He then asks how Shadow is feeling. Shadow, in shock, calls it "agreeable". Bug-Eye then smiles as he says it's time to leave.
