Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog #288

The Scrap Brain Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a Zone built by Dr. Eggman and served as his base of operations on South Island.

The Scrap Brain Zone had the layout of an industrial city, and Dr. Eggman equipped it with many types of booby-traps (flamethrowers, lasers, trapdoors, etc). The base seems to be situated above ruins resembling that are either a part of, or least greatly resemble, the Labyrinth Zone.[1]

Sonic the Hedgehog passed through this Zone during his original adventure to liberate South Island from Dr. Eggman and his assistant, Dr. Julian Snively, and later passed through the Zone again on his way back to Green Hill Zone after defeating the duo.[1][2]

Worlds Collide

In the world created by the second Genesis Wave, Sonic had a previous adventure to the Scrap Brain Zone.[3]
