The Scavengers are a group that appears in the Sonic Prime television series. They live above the trees of the Boscage Maze and the group was created at some point before Thorn Rose kicked them out of the jungle.
Description[]
The Scavengers are a group of anthropomorphic animals who live in the jungle. Consisted of Prim, Hangry, Gnarly and Mangey, they constantly need to take supplies of the jungle to survive, and this caused them to get kicked out of the jungle by their former friend, Thorn.

The Scavengers were formed at an unknown point of life. They were friends with Thorn Rose and her giant Flicky, Birdie. But the Scavengers were taking too many of the jungle's supplies, destroying it slowly in the process. This led Thorn to get furious and she kicked them out of the jungle. With that, they were forced to live above the trees, they built a village to live, but because of the lack of supplies, they sometimes starve and are forced to eat tree barks to survive and constantly get down to the jungle to get supplies, but Thorn always gets them and she kicks them back to above the trees.
Season one[]
The Scavengers are hostile towards Sonic at first, from "Unwelcome to the Jungle".
After another failed attempt to get supplies, the Scavengers find Sonic on their village. At first, they thought he was a threat, but when noticing how fast he was, Prim comes up with a plan. She lies to Sonic saying they knew where the green Prism Shard was. Prim makes a deal with the hedgehog and asks him to take care of the "monster" that lives in the jungle. Everyone goes to the jungle floor, but Thorn throws them back to their village again. The Scavengers watch Sonic and Thorn walking to find the Prism Shard and believe Sonic betrayed them.
When Sonic returns to their village, the Scavengers confront Sonic for helping Thorn, but he tries to calm them down and explain everything. Prim then tells him how they were once friends with Thorn but her obsession with protecting the jungle destroyed their friendship as she kicked them out of the jungle. Then, the power of the green Prism Shard creates many tree roots, nearly destroying them.
The Scavengers apologize to Thorn, from "Barking Up the Wrong Tree".
After that, Sonic, using Amy's peaceful tactics, tries to make Thorn and the Scavengers talk to each other to make amends, but the Scavengers attack Thorn, who fights back by creating more trees, blocking completely sunlight, and destroying the Scavengers' village. Sonic then attracts Thorn and Birdie to the Great Green, when Thorn strains her hammer with the Shard, Sonic breaks it apart and it creates a big hole on the trees' leaves. This lets sunlight in and now Thorn can see clearly what the jungle looks like and realizes what her action had done to nature. She remembers the time she was friends with the Scavengers, at some point, she realized they were taking too much from the jungle's resources, this made her snap in anger and become "the monster", the Scavengers finally realize what they've done to Thorn and they apologize. This makes her reconcile with the Scavengers and they start living in harmony again.
Season two[]
The Scavengers are scared to fight back, from "Battle in the Boscage".
While Sonic was gone, the Scavengers seem to have a better relationship with Thorn. However, they still get into an argument when the Chaos Council shows up. The Scavengers are scared of the robots, while Thorn insists, they need to protect the jungle. Sonic comes back to the village and sides with Thorn. Prim strongly refuses, stating that they should just give them the Shard and move on. Sonic tries to reason with her but is unsuccessful. When Sonic goes down to the jungle with Thorn, all the other Scavengers follow Prim's decision to stay behind. Moments later however, they change their mind and decide to protect their home. They all go into battle, defeating some Eggforcers. In the end, their efforts are not enough, as the Council is able to steal the Shard.
Season three[]
Rusty Rose and Black Rose would save the Scavengers while they were at the Boscage Maze, The Scavengers would save the citizens of New Yoke from falling. They would later go to The Grim to save Sonic from his sacrifice and would anger Nine. Which Nine would create the Grim Troopers which they would manage to take out Sails and Mangey. Rebel would devise a plan where the pirates would go to one side of Citadel and the Scavengers invading the other. The Scavengers would get close and Nine would create Grim Big which would be destroyed by Mr. Dr. Eggman. Nine would catch the scavengers with Sonic making a new plan to stop Nine. The heroes would slowly take out the Alpha's and would head towards the Citadel. Sonic would make a great sacrifice and nine was forgiven leaving Sonic and Shadow to return to their universe.
