Savage Skunk[1] is a transformation that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is the Badnik form of Marcel Skunk, having been turned into a giant robot by Dr. Robotnik in an attempt to destroy Sonic the Hedgehog and conquer Mobius.
Appearance[]
Described as the world's biggest Badnik, Savage Skunk is a colossal, skunk-based robot, covered in shiny, grey-and-red armor, with a large tail. Savage Skunk possesses a glowing pink right eye and two laser cannons mounted where his left eye should be, with a third laser cannon mounted on his left shoulder. Savage Skunk also possesses metallic, yellow teeth, and a green gas mask nozzle on his face, in place of his nose.[1]
History[]
Odour Zone[]
When Marcel Skunk was captured by Dr. Robotnik, the evil doctor turned Marcel into his biggest Badnik. Robotnik then ordered Savage Skunk to go on a rampage, destroying a forest and Marcel's home, the Odour Zone, in order to lure Sonic to Robotnik's lair. Savage Skunk then returned to Robotnik's lair and waited with Robotnik until Sonic arrived, at which point they ambushed the hedgehog. Robotnik has set up a net launcher to fire a net at Sonic. Robotnik then revealed Savage Skunk, who blasted Sonic with one of his laser cannons, destroying the net. Savage Skunk continued firing at Sonic, and Sonic ran away, with Robotnik believing he had retreated. However, Sonic was merely building up his momentum, and returned to hit Savage Skunk with an extra-powerful Spin Attack, smashing his armor and freeing Marcel from Robotnik’s control.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Savage Skunk retains Marcel's incredible size and strength, being strong enough to demolish a forest. Marcel possesses two large laser cannons in place of his left eye, and a third laser cannon mounted on his left shoulder, which can fire explosive pink energy beams. Marcel’s right eye can also project a beam of light.[1]
