Sand Snakes are creatures that appear in the Sonic Underground television series. They are a large snake-like species that roam the purple sands of Hamarapi.[1]
Description[]
Anatomy[]
Sand Snakes are massive in size, being compared to the Mobian Megawhale. They have dark purple skin, yellowish, sharp teeth, beady black eyes, and several white spikes protruding out of their backs.
Powers and abilities[]
They are capable of roaming through sands as if it were water and, due to their size, are able to swallow objects as big as vans whole.

TV series[]
Season one[]
A single Sand Snake was seen attacking the Sonic Underground upon their arrival in Hamarapi. The Sand Snake managed to swallow them whole, but after having its insides agitated by the hedgehogs, spit the trio back out.[1]
