The San Francisco Police Department, or simply the SFPD, is a group in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs. It is the police department of San Francisco.

For a long time, Tom Wachowski wanted to join the San Francisco Police Department to prove himself, and eventually sent them an application. After doing a pending interdepartmental review and background check, the department decided to let Tom join their team. However, Tom would turn down the offer after Sonic reminded him of how much the people in Green Hills cared for him.
