Saleta is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a future descendant of alternate version of Sally Acorn and a member of the Freedom Fighters of the Galaxy, as well as Hawkhawk's ex-girlfriend.[1][2]

Appearance[]

Physically identical to her ancestor, Saleta is a slender mobian squirrel-chipmunk hybrid of average height with a curvy figure. She has brown fur (with light brown on the face and torso) as well as short, auburn hair, and a short tail. For attire, Saleta wears a skintight, v-necked black bodysuit which is orange in the front and covers her torso, arms, and thighs, an orange cape, a pair of orange gloves with baggy cuffs, and a pair of orange, thigh-high, high-heeled boots.

Saleta is brave and heroic. She also possesses a crush on Sonik, thinking that he is a hunk.

Saleta possesses the ability to manipulate light with her mind in various ways, such as firing beams of light energy from her hands, creating solid disks of light which she can stand on and fly around on, and creating flexible force-fields made of light shaped like a person’s body to allow her and her allies to survive in space.

  • Saleta's character is based on that of Aleta Ogord from Marvel Comics' Guardians of the Galaxy, upon which the Freedom Fighters of the Galaxy are based on.
