The SWATbot is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a mass-produced Badnik model created by Robo-Robotnik v1.0 and an alternate version of the SWATbot from a different Zone.
Appearance[]
SWATbots are humanoid-shaped robots with shiny metallic gray and white armor covering them. Standing at roughly six feet tall, SWATbots have domed-shaped heads with a spike protruding from the top and view the world with a single red-tinted optical visor. Melee spikes also protrude from the joints, while large “fins” occupy the forearms.
History[]
Past[]
The SWATbots and other Badniks were sent under the command of Robotnik to fight and subject the Freedom Fighters to partial Roboticization. However, the Freedom Fighters used their new cybernetics to their advantage and launched an all-out assault against Robotnik, defeating many of his Badniks, including his SWATbots.[1]
Variants[]
Shadow SWATbot[]
The Shadow SWATbots are the successors to the regular SWATbots, and were largely deployed by Dr. Robotnik after he roboticized himself.
