Rump Protector

The Rump Protector is an object that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a round cap that Super Robotnik wore on his posterior during the Gladiator Challenge, to protect his weak spot.

History

After Coconuts accidentally made the formula that transformed Dr. Robotnik into Super Robotnik, his master demanded he recreate it, so as to cover his butt which was his weak spot. Unable to recreate the formula, Coconuts gave Robotnik this "rump protector" instead. Feeling embarrassed, Robotnik wore it for the Gladiator Challenge against Sonic.

During the final round of the Gladiator Challenge, Sonic was able to remove the Rump Protector and kick Super Robotnik right in his weak spot, thus defeating him and coming out as the winner of the gladiator challenge.
