Rose Typhoon (ローズタイフーン, Rōzu Taifūn^?) is Amy Rose's Soul Surge technique in Sonic and the Black Knight. When performing this technique, Amy creates a pink shockwave that damages anything it touches. This move can, however, only be used in multiplayer mode as it is the only time when Amy is playable.

Description

When Amy is performing Rose Typhoon, she grabs her Piko Piko Hammer and jumps into the air while twirling her whole body around vertically. She then brings her hammer down while somersaulting and hits the ground with it. This briefly creates a small pink column before forming a pink dome of energy that expands until it envelops the entire battlefield before finally dispatching.

To perform Rose Typhoon, Amy's Soul Gauge must contain some energy. To activate it in gameplay, the player must press , and to attack with it, the player must then swing the Wii Remote. To cancel the move while being used, the player must press again. Using this Soul Surge deceases the energy in the Soul Gauge. Any lesser enemies that come into contact with this energy dome from Rose Typhoon are either instantly destroyed or receive massive damage. If other players' characters get hit by the energy dome, however, they take damage and will continue to take damage for as long as they remain inside the energy dome while it is active. However, by continuing to guard, a player can counter the continuous damage. Rose Typhoon can only be used two times per match and can only be performed while Amy is standing on the ground.
