King Romulus Acorn is a character that is mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was the fifth king of the Kingdom of Acorn and a member of the House of Acorn.
History[]
Life and achievements[]
Romulus was born to Julius Acorn, whom he succeeded as king. Determined to establish the authority and power of the House of Acorn, Romulus relocated Mobotropolis to the site of the Source of All, and saw to it that details of its discovery were "glossed over" so as to add to the reputation of his line.[1]
Legacy[]
History recalls that Romulus' efforts may well have contributed to the delusions of infallibility exhibited by his son George Acorn.[1]
Trivia[]
- Romulus may be named after Romulus, one of the mythical founders of Rome, a connection made more evident by the fact that his father is named Julius, after the Roman statesman.
