Description[]
In this event, the player starts by either rapidly pressing and or by swinging the Wii Remote down when "Go!" appears onscreen. The player can perform a faster start by performing their action with the right timing, but will have a delayed start if they attempt to begin too early. After starting, the player can run to increase their starting speed by either continuing to press and
or by shaking the Wii Remote, with faster speeds achieved with faster inputs. As they approach the start line, their speed will be locked and they can board their bobsleigh by either lifting the GamePad or by pressing
, with a starting boost being given for boarding close to the starting line. Once on the course, the player can steer by tilting the GamePad or Wii Remote left and right, and can perform tighter turns by holding down
or
or
respectively. The course features various items and obstacles to help or hinder the player. Rings can be collected to increase the top speed of the bobsleigh, Dash Panels give the player a short boost of speed, and Springs launch the player to the next section of the course. As the obstacles on the course, traffic cones slow the player down slightly when hit, trucks cause the player to spin out and lose speed when hit, wrecking balls swing across some sections of the course and also cause players to spin out, and Cop Speeders will cause the players to lose speed when hit but will be destroyed upon impact. The course also features side view sections, where the player must tilt their controller to angle their bobsleigh to match the ground, with better matched angles awarding the player an additional speed boost. The player that completes the course in the fastest time wins.
